Called for information on a storage unit since I'll be moving, spoke with Kayleigh in the office and she was very friendly and answered all my questions, I really enjoyed talking with her! I would definitely recommend this company. ... Read more

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!! The staff was so friendly and amazing. Kayleigh managed to answer and assist me with all the questions I had. I would not of expected this from a storage company. She did so many things for me during a very stressful time that I can’t say enough! Thank you so much! ... Read more

When this facility was Red Dot storage I would have given it five stars. Since being taken over by storage rentals of America it has gone completely downhill. It's so bad that we are pulling all of our property out of our unit and relocating to another facility. I signed up for autopay in August but then in late September after my next payment was due I started getting late notices and noticed my bill was $20 higher than the month before. I tried numerous times over a period of a week to call the number given in their emails and texts to speak to a manager and the voicemail system would only go in a loop and take me back to the beginning and I could never speak to a human. I replied to the emails and the texts from Marcy along for my payment, to request a call and no one ever called. It took me 2 weeks of trying to finally reach an agent. She explained there was a late fee and when I asked how that could happen because I had Auto pay, she said it's up to the local facility to run the card payment for auto pay and for some reason they didn't. She mentioned that they still did not have a property manager and that could be part of the reason. After 20 minutes on the phone I finally was able to get it straightened out and they removed the late fee but I had to pay over the phone with my card. Two weeks later we had a moving company representative coming to give us an estimate and the gate code would not work. It said access denied. I called the number and they gave us two different codes to try and those didn't work. The representative escalated the matter to try to open the gate remotely. This resulted in us waiting on hold for over 10 minutes, wondering if they were going to come back on the line. My husband called back while I stayed on hold on the first call and we then had two agents trying to figure out how to get the gate to open. It was a Wednesday and it just so happens the local office is closed on Wednesdays. Really? After 20 minutes they were finally able to open the gate remotely. It was a huge waste of our time and money and frustrating as well for the moving company rep who had to wait behind us. They said they would report the issue to the facility owner, which is what the agent said regarding the issue with my auto payment problem and no one ever called me. Then last week I started getting overdue payment notices again for my October payment! I called back again spending another 20 minutes on the phone and this time the rep said she couldn't see where my auto pay request in August was successful! It took a while to get her to transfer me to someone who could remove the late fee and once again I had to pay over the phone with my card. There won't be a November payment because we are pulling out. There are plenty of other storage facilities in the area. Don't waste your valuable time on this one. I'm sure I've spent no less than 3 hours dealing with their mismanagement in the past 2 months. UPDATE: a week later and I am back at the facility and once again cannot get in I talked with one representative who gave me a code that didn't work because it again said access suspended. My bill is all paid and up to date so this should not be an issue. I talked to another representative who gave me a different code and that code worked and she said she would put in another request to reset my code. It won't be necessary because we are pulling all of our stuff out tomorrow. I never could access my account online after Red Dot sold the facility. ... Read more

Since the new management has taken over it's been a disaster. Gate codes won't work, no property manager to take care of problems. They repeatedly promise to have the district manager call me back within 24-48 hours but it's now been a week. I've called multiple times and it's always "there's nothing we can do". Don't bother using this rental company, it's a waste of money! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage Rentals of America - 250 West Highway Route 38 include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage Rentals of America - 250 West Highway Route 38 start from $35 and can go up to $178 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
