Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 3320 West Lake Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Edit: One week later and I'm already regretting it... I was told I would receive a map via email and I didn't. On my first day to move in, I could not get into my unit. I tried calling and no answer (even though someone was in the office). So then I walk outside because im totally lost to head to the office in POURING rain like blankets (4.2.25 so you can verify). Mary eventually lets me in after watching me walk from the garage to her office door and still makes me wait 5 seconds standing outside waiting. I ask for a map and help to get there and she tells me to take a picture of the map on the side of her desk. I ask to go inside because I only needed to put my lock on my door and she refused to let me in and said I had to walk around. I asked her if she was serious because it was a monsoon and she said yes. Zero effort or craps given. Of course this wasn't the case when she insisted to open the google review page on my phone a week before so I could leave the below original post. One last thing, this facility is disgusting. They don't clean or sweep it. I saw men fixing landscaping tools inside the hallway and theres still dirt piles. On the walk to my unit, I saw dead mice, glitter explosions and various leaks on the ground that show obvious signs of previous leaks. it's cheap here but you get what you pay for. --------- I’m so glad I came across this facility. My current place (down the street) raised their rates from $90 a month to $250 in 10 months for a single unit and Mary from Public is saving me hundreds a month now. Ty ty Ty! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 3320 West Lake Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 3320 West Lake Avenue start from $30 and can go up to $445 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
