Over priced, not 24/7, not secure as the gate would miss lead you to think. Reported a theft and got told there are homeless people living in the woods behind the place and it’s a known problem by PD. Back fence is so over grown with weeds/trees and in poor condition you could very easily get in with little effort. Side doors broke and clearly never getting fixed. Tweaker with his scrap pile left his broke down truck sitting in the middle of the entrance road for a good week and nothing was done about it. Wasn’t in the first unit all of a few days and had water running through the roof and had to move units. Just an over all dump of a location. ... Read more

Online rental process was simple and I received a welcome email and access instructions very quickly. The facility location is convenient, access is easy, and the external security gate is great. The drive up units are easy get to. Our unit was clean, dry, and ready to move in right away. Our unit has remained dry even after heavy rains. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Bolt Storage - 19200 Illinois 5 include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 20 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Bolt Storage - 19200 Illinois 5 start from $30 and can go up to $100 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
