Britney was so friendly and helpful. I have rented a space here for almost two years. Came in today to downsize to a smaller unit. She made the process so easy. Let me walk and see the units before I selected. ... Read more

Very similar to the last reviewer, I too had a 10x10 space since 2019. Started out paying less than $100 on a promotion and then around $150 very quickly after. Flash forward to 2024, I am now paying over $300 for the unit. Other competitors are currently offering much less than what I pay, and I tried to get a price match but was told I am paying the market rate. Not sure what market that is based off since I just moved into a competitor down the street for $50 a month again. I guess that’s the game of these storage companies. Otherwise, no issues with the space or management. ... Read more

I just moved all of my stuff out after having my stuff stored there since 2020. There are a lot of great things about this place but also some negatives. Here's my breakdown Positives - It's secured gated storage so I felt that my items were safe. - There's a convenient app that you can use to open the entrance gate which is super convenient not to have to get out of your car. - Emmanuel is a very good guardian of the building. He always knows what's going on and he's very helpful. I even got a confirmation that I was moved out before I had the chance to officially check out online. - for me it was a huge bonus that it's right up the street from the salvation army because I ended up giving away a bunch of my things and I could do that on the way home. - Management was accommodating with a few of my requests to hold the rate the same as it went up over the 3 +years that I was there. Negatives It's not heated, which I at first didn't think it would be a big deal because I didn't think I'd be spending much time there. But I decided to move out during the winter and it was very uncomfortable to be there in the cold. The cold is also not very good if you have furniture. I had one piece that my had some kind of marks that I think might have been Frost marks since it was leaned up against the wall. The price really did go up in significant jumps. I started out. I think it was either 100 or 125. It was bumped up to 250 and it was going to go up to $300 in February! Myspace was 10x10 which is very large. They do have really low prices to get you in and then they steadily increase the price which is really just how most of these places work. My recommendation is if they let you prepay to lock in the low rate do that for as much as possible, especially if they'll give you a refund for the months you don't use. ... Read more

Reserving a space was super easy. When I went to get my keys, nobody was there. I called the office and left a message. About half an hour later, I received a call from a call center that was able to activate the app on my phone so I could open the gate. He told me my unit number and that if I pull off the green tag on the handle, a new lock would be inside. A bit strange to not be able to speak with someone onsite, but it was easy to make the reservation and to move into the unit. Unit is clean. Only note on the facilities is that the bathroom was locked ever time I visited, so there is no bathroom onsite… ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 4072 North Broadway Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 4072 North Broadway Street start from $104 and can go up to $348 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
