Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 6295 North Saguaro Hills Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

The storage itself is okay, however the practice of double dipping (illegally collecting rent from both previous and new tenant for the same period of time) is not only not okay, but also illegal in the state of Idaho. You would think with their price they wouldn’t have to stoop to this. ... Read more

Made it 4mo before they raised prices by 33% from $180 to $243/mo. Understand that things cost more, but there's no justification for this, absolutely unacceptable. This will be my last month at this location. 2nd star is only because the manager I interacted with at the setup was incredibly pleasant & helpful, older gentleman whose name I forget. Also the facility IS clean & well maintained. Update 7/26: had the pleasure to work with Jeff when moving units, can't say enough good things. Went out of his way to help with the paperwork, was friendly the whole time, and even helped us push an old car whose tires had gone flat out of the rain. Maintaining the 2nd star just because of him, but the pricing raising practices by the overall management are still despicable so can't go higher. ... Read more

This place sucks greedy owners and company DO NOT COME HERE! We started out at $95 and they raise it $70+ every month. When you put a check in the box to pay your storage bill they don’t check it and then you get a late fee of $100 we pay $200+ a month here other places are cheaper! This place is a scam and like I said greedy scummy owners and company. ... Read more

I will never again rent space from Public Storage. The local mgt of their facilities told me that they would prorate the rent if you moved out during the month. When they raised my rates from $183/month to $220/month it was time to move (we started at $90/month). I exited on Jan. 3rd after they had taken an autopayment for the month of Jan on Jan. 2nd and they refuse to refund any of the $220. Highway robbery and TERRIBLE customer service! Shame on me for trusting this company at their word. UPDATE: The manager reached out to me and refunded my money for January rent. She restated their policy but said since I had been told something different from the local staff she would make it right. I appreciate her professionalism and resolving my complaint. I’m changing my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. The rest of my experience with Public storage was fine. Yes they raised the rent which eventually led to me moving out but this is not unique to Public storage in the storage market. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 6295 North Saguaro Hills Avenue include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Kiosk Available, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 75 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 6295 North Saguaro Hills Avenue start from $80 and can go up to $233 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
