I have been storing a few items at Sawgrass for just over two years now. The facility is very conveniently located, easy to access at any time, and always feels safe. Recently, I checked prices at a new storage place that just opened up and Sawgrass is still by far the cheapest. Good customer service too. Highly recommend. ... Read more

We have been using this storage facility going on 1 year now upcoming November 2018. We needed somewhere to store our vehicle until we have the space to work on it and get it up and going again, it is a classic so we wanted it covered from weather elements. NONE of the other storage facilities in the area would accommodate it due to it not running, and not being up to date on registration. We are so grateful to have found Sawgrass Mini Storage, they had the perfect size unit and the best price in town for it as well. We pay less than 100 for a unit that is about 10ft x 10ft or so. Big enough to fit an old vehicle. The owners have been very nice in all of our communications. We have been on autopay for about 6 months or so and it is so amazing, it is due to come out of our bank on the 1st of every month and it is ALWAYS on time. Thank you for being amazing! ... Read more

Units are priced good, but the people that work in their office are never there during open hours and I always get an answering machine when I call. Twice now I have tried to have them correct my email so I can pay my bill, but it does not get fixed and forces me to not be able to pay on time. If you say you are open answer a phone call please. ... Read more

They used to be good, but they sold out to Grizzly Bear Storage, LLC last year and have gone down hill since then. The place has been falling into disrepair and the office is not always staffed during posted hours of operation. As the place is falling apart, they have the audacity to raise their rental rates to some of the highest in the area! I have noticed that their are progressively more vacancies in this place and soon there will be two more, as I am going to moving out of my units. ... Read more

Very reasonable storage place that is clean and seems to be well secured. :) the key pad sometimes sticks and you have to punch number in a couple times. But very happy with the service. Front end gal is a sweety as well. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Grizzly Bear Storage - 13575 Sawgrass Drive include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
