Jessica was amazing helping me manage getting caught up on my rent, going above and beyond. I give Jessica the 5 stars. However their late fees are outrageous, and I am fearful of them raising the rent again. Can I give this 2 reviews, one for Jessica and a 1 star for their fees and rental increases? Public Storage needs to find the balance between automation and the human factor. Jessica more than made up the difference, but others have not been as helpful. They move fast to auction your life off. PS doesn't seem to want to keep their customers long term. The corporate owners Blackrock are the same companies involved in raising housing and home rental prices through International Equity Firms buying up the housing market, so they make money driving people out of their homes, then make money when you have to place everything you own into storage. ... Nearly impossible to find human help or even an email of some kind. They raise the prices every 6-12 months and it’s ridiculous. I started at $107 and decided to finally move out when it got to $273. Nearly $300/month for a rental unit is CRAZY. I moved out 1/1/25 and made sure I was fully out before noon. I got an email this morning (1/2/25) saying I somehow owe the entire month of January’s rent for moving out on 1/2/25. I DID NOT move out 1/2/25! I gave them 2 weeks notice & have multiple confirmations, including of the U-Haul I rented to transport everything. I don’t owe you anything. Also, there are rodent problems that pop up from time to time. I never kept food in my unit for obvious reasons, but there was rat poop everywhere. While moving out, I found the literal mummified/half decomposed body of a rat behind some of my belongings. Gross. ... Read more

They jacked up the price multiple times with almost no notice. Also when I moved out at the beginning of the month before my posted due date they refused to refund what had gotten automatically pulled off my card even a pro rated amount. Use any other storage facility before going here ... Read more

Public Storage on Victory They Jack prices up every 6-12 months We moved into the place when it was Victory Storage, in 2017 it was 10x24 space for $96 great price. Extra space took over in 2019 and upped our rent to $117, understandable and we didn’t have issue with it. Public took over in 2021 In May 2021 rent went to $132 In Nov 2021 rent went to $176 =25% In Dec 2022 rent went to $206 =17% In Nov 2023 rent went to $274 =33.3% In 2 of the cases above we called to complain and got a 6 month extension before having to pay the new rent. I called and talked to Corporate and complained that I could rent the same space new for $125 a month, but of course that would require moving units. The person on the phone point blank told me it will continue to go up every 6-12 months even if I did move. So we used our 6 months to find another space, luckily we were able to downsize and there were no space the same size. So we got a 10x18 for $118. They also did the same on my daughters unit, which was size 12x10 started @ 100 in 2023 it went up to $201 in Aug 2024 ... Read more

I have had a medium size storage unit here since 2020. I do t remember the size, but it is about 10x17. Originally it was one of the best priced unit in the area, the price has increased nearly 300% in 4 years! They have steadily increased every year from around $100 to $300! Now I have to move all my stuff to another place. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 2902 South Beverly Street include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 572 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 2902 South Beverly Street start from $83 and can go up to $262 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
