What a stream-lined process! Hardest part was getting the key to the lock on our new storage unit on my key ring! Seriously, this process of finding and renting a storage unit near our home was extremely renter-friendly. The units are clean, easy to access and exit. Last, speaking of friendly, Chris and Sam were helpful with my questions upon arrival and the entry code issues that I had. Thank you! ... Read more

I stopped by my unit today to grab a glass top table & chair set for tomorrow’s staging. It’s heavy and awkward to carry, without help. So as the story goes, I should have had help!!I couldn’t even believe my eyes. Of course, I didnt have a broom or a trash can to put the glass in. So, I’m hosed. I had no idea anyone was around, until I heard someone say ”you can go ahead and cuss”, and I sure did?? Chris Manning, who works for Storage Mart, came to my rescue. He brought me a broom, dust pan and trash can and helped me clean it up??I told Chris’s that I’m so blessed to always have Angels show up and he was definitely my angel for the day!! ... Read more

By far the worst experience of my life. First I was lied to about applied discounts and the manager, Jessica is best friends with the regional manager that doesn't look into a clients situations even if documents are presented. My stuff was out of auction status having to pay $785 dollars to open and move or pay another. Jessica was rude, inconsiderate, didn't look up the video tape as she offered. I pay $800 in 3 days to save my not late things from being authorized. Crow tow asked if it i wanted anything from my car before they towed my totaled car away. The units were gross inside and out. The traded companies with Anawim Housing and no clue of what's going on or happening with my never recommended this storage mart to anyone.. no good deed was ever unpunished, paid my bills even over, stuff on auction status after 1 month, my locks cut, items in storage ruined, no one person had any clue what Jessica had done to overcharge my account, Jessica was never there, and it was unsecured with them taking off security boxes, people staying in open units with the door propped open. No one would meet with me face-to-face, and the whole thing was sketchy and not what it was before Storage Mart took over. It's all around a horrible place, with bad security, and even worse managers and customer service agents. DO NOT USE THIS Storage Mart. I can't even say all the bad things about it, the review would be so many pages. Everything and everyone was horrible and didn't deserve to have my possessions in their facility. I'll give their information to use that Storage Mart, ever. ... Read more

Quick to help. I had to leave a voicemail and I was called back the next business day. We found the unit clean and ready to move in when we arrived. The movers had easy access and they completed unloading in no-time at all. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at StorageMart - 6600 Hickman Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
