Been trying to get a hold of him for over a week now to see the place and rent a unit. Never answers his phone (even during business hours), can't leave a voicemail due to it being full, and no response to my email ever came. If this is how he handles inquiries, I can't imagine how he treats his customers. Will definitely be avoiding this place. ... Read more

Terrible business, I over paid for two months and the owner tried to still charge me for the next month. He even left my unit open one day (my belongings exposed) and then later changed the lock on the unit to lock me out of it. Basically I couldn't access my own stuff while I had to wait for him to go back and check his billing records. Never returns calls or answers. He figured out he had credited my check to another unit. WOW! All of this could of been avoided if he would communicate and send out invoices consistently. Seems like running the business is overwhelming to him. Extremely frustrating experience. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Norwalk Mini-Storage - 501 Wright Road include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Security Camera, Gate and Unstaffed Location. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 240 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Norwalk Mini-Storage - 501 Wright Road start from $49 and can go up to $130 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
