Read some helpful reviews of iStorage at 120 Southgate Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

The owner is the one you deal with so it doesn't get much better. Your belongings are kept safe and easily accessible. We are glad we stored our extra things there while we got settled in our new town, and we didn't mind the drive across town because his rates made it worth it. ... Read more

I have also called several times and left multiple voicemails about possible storage units. I only received a call back the first time when I inquired about the prices. When I called back later that week, I could not get ahold of anyone to tell them I'd like to rent from them. I then followed up with another phone call the next week and still no response. My boyfriend called the third week and left a voicemail and we never heard anything back. I would recommend going somewhere who calls their customers back. ... Read more

Katelyn was absolutely spot on with her review. It's nearly 2 years past and they are still not returning calls. I have left 2 messages for Alan over the past 2 weeks. Still waiting for a call back. ... Read more

I have tried to get in contact with this storage facility for several weeks now and I have left 2 voice mails and never received a call back. I have heard good things about this storage unit and that is the reason I wanted to get a unit here for the summer, although it is quite worrisome if they do not even care enough to call potential customers back. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at iStorage - 120 Southgate Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
