Patrick was very polite. I came in to look at the units and he took me to see two of them before I purchased. Patrick was very punctual and knowledgeable about the units. Would recommend purchasing online as they have better deals! ... Read more

I'm a little confused why I'm not getting any notifications, letting me know that my price has gone up $30. I've been to the office and was told to email them which I did, with nothing back. And my email; has not changed since I got the rental. Also I ran into a guy from the office and asked why there was a stain in front of my unit. he said it was from condensation, in which my unit is climate controlled. Look up nothing showing where anything had been dripping. color was brown...and at times it could be cleaner in the bay area.. ... Read more

I'm sorry, are these dented, rusted, unmaintained metal units wracked by inflation? Why then would they increase the cost every couple of months? You will get a nice low introductory price and then when all your junk is shoved into the unit, they will raise the price consistently every couple months. I would never use this place for more than a short-term storage solution because frankly it became ridiculously expensive for a tiny unit. ... Read more

I have had an amazing experience with this storage unit, even just in the time leading up to moving things in. The manager Patrick called me himself to let me know of possible issues with the unit I had booked, and told me he was going to switch it just to make sure everything was okay when I moved things in. He transferred it to one of the same price and got everything settled no problem. He made sure that everything was in order for move in day. I really appreciate this type of service and the way they handle things. He was very polite, respectful and over all a great person to work with. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for storage units in the area. They care about their customers and their things. ... Read more

I had an outstanding experience at StorageMart, thanks to their exceptional representative, Pat! From the moment I walked in, Pat was warm, welcoming, and truly dedicated to providing top-notch customer service. Pat took the time to understand my storage needs and walked me through the available options in a clear and friendly manner. They answered all my questions patiently, and their knowledge about the facility and the leasing process was impressive. I felt valued as a customer, which made all the difference. Not only did Pat ensure I found a unit that perfectly suited my requirements, but they also made the entire leasing process smooth and hassle-free. It’s rare to encounter someone so genuinely committed to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend StorageMart, and if you get the chance to work with Pat, consider yourself lucky! last year I lost all of my home in a storage unit here at the army post location. Rats had gotten into it and destroyed almost everything. It wasn’t even sanitary to go through things to see what was salvageable. I filed a claim with them which was denied saying that they aren’t at fault even though I paid insurance on the unit. Over a thousand dollars in rent of the unit as well as all of my home for the last 3 years gone. I’m a single mom who worked so hard for all of my things and I’m still a year later slowly replacing those things and nobody seems to care until it’s them. only thing that was done after stressful back and fourth calling and waste of my time. they wrote me a check for $500 (that they “don’t normally do but felt bad for me”) that $500 only covered me getting a uhaul, paying people to come in and help me and taking it to the dump! They made me go in and get rid of the things. They refused to rent a dumpster for me instead telling me I could use the small one on site but I had a full unit including a bed and couch. It would not of fit. I had to go in and load and take everything to a dump which was money out of my pocket totaling to $560. Last week at the same facility my sister in law went to her unit to find rats have ruined all of her things as well. While they were there someone a few units down were in tears for the same reason. The lady working the office is insanely rude and insensitive. Corporate also doesn’t give a damn either. Clearly they don’t take the proper measures to keep the property clean. If you have a unit here I would be cautious and check on your things. Don’t rent from here unless you like wasting money and plan on losing all your things. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at StorageMart - 1750 East Army Post Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 576 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
