Do not move in online! Check out the unit in person first. Online, it does not mention that economy upper is a unit that is on top of another unit. I reserved a 1st floor economy upper unit and you would need to climb up 8ft on their mobile stairs to put stuff in your unit. There are no lifts at this location. I was needing to store big furniture so the unit i reserved did not fit my needs Stephanie and Nikki was such a big help on helping me find another unit nearby. I am only giving this place 4 stars because Stephanie and Nikki were so helpful and understanding of my situation. ... Read more

Great experience and super easy. Stephanie signed us up and was super accommodating to help us find the storage unit that worked for our needs. Nikki helped us close out our storage unit after we were done and was also a delight to work with. Both ladies were wonderful to our baby boy and if we ever need storage again we will definitely come back. The unit itself had good storage shelves and easy access for a decent price. Very happy with the experience! Thank you! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Stor Quest Self Storage - 850 Kawaiahao Street include the following amenities: Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Kiosk Available, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
