My sister rented from Storage Zone in Warner Robins, it was sad to say the least. We went to clean the unit out and there was Rat urine and feces everywhere and i mean EVERYWHERE. My nieces bed was completely unsalvageable, as it wqs completely stained from all the urine, including all of her stuffed animals, blankets and pillows. The manager at the time took several photos but unfortunately she no longer works there, so it’s been trying to get this matter resolved. long story short i wouldn’t advise renting from here seeing as that could care less about tenant protection, pest control or accountability. All about money. ... Read more

We rented from the Warner Robins, GA location for a year, all was fine until we went to clean our unit out in November 2023. We found that our whole unit was INFESTED with rats and a lot of our belongings were ruined including mattresses, bedding, couch, clothes etc. we notified the Manager on duty to come down to our unit. (Anika). She came down was very apologetic said she had never seen anything this bad, informed us that a unit close to us had , had food stored and attracted the rats. She took SEVERAL pics and told us she would inform corporate and see what they could do as far as compensation and to leave the ruined items in the storage unit. so we moved what we could and left the ruined things. Fast forward to Feb 2024. I have called several times in the past 4 months to find out what is happening with the compensation. continue to get told “corp hasn’t gotten back to me”. To now being told that, that manager no longer works there and they have no recollection of this matter and that we never moved out and we owe $400+. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE AS FAR AS CUSTOMER SUPPORT. no communication, no accountability. ... Read more

I have been in the same unit almost 20 years, and never had a problem until Storage Zone came in. They stop sending bills and email only. I got a call that my check was damaged in the mail and ask me to replace it. So I came up there got the check and mailed a new one. Ofcourse, it was late now, so they charged me a late fee. After complaining about this I was told she would have to go to corporate and get them to change this. So, I waited nothing was done. I have had several late fees since than due to the fact I don't get the email until a week before the end of month and if I mail it, it will be late. March check was mailed 3/2 and I took it and dropped into the box. It didn't clear till 3/14 and they charged me a late fee (because they either did not check the box or held it to long) But not my fault. I went up there and complained, was told that they would take care of it. Got my new bill for April mailed it on 3/24/2023 cleared my acct. on 4/2, so not late until the 8th but yet got another late fee. Do not recommend this facility. ... Read more

My locks were changed without any notice!!!! I went to move an item into my storage 4/24/22, which i rarely do. Hadn't been there in yrs! Just been paying the rental fee like always and my lock was replaced!!! No notice. Nothing. I remember making one late payment by one day about 2 months ago, but otherwise i'd been on time. My lock should have been put back on after payment!!!! What the heck? Who leaves customers storage locked for over one month when payment WAS made??? Well the young lady did remove the lock and replaced mine for free. To ALL renters, beware and check your unit at once a month. I'm starting to have bad vibes about this new company which took over. Never Ever had this problem with Southside Storage!!!!! The rent was raised over $25/month after being told it wouldn't since i'd been there with Southside for years. Yeah. Bad vibes. ... Read more

If I could leave not one star, I would. First and foremost the website to make payments was not functional for me for two weeks. My unit was then locked and put up for auction status. After paying for the unit online on 2/12/21 because no one is ever at the office, my unit was still locked. It remained locked for over a week, after multiple calls had been made, and proof of payment was recognized by the company. I left multiple messages on the phone, to no avail. I then had to physically come back to the storage unit facility, call the office and ask again for it to be removed on 2/23/21. I was met with an incredibly asinine excuse that the lady working there was the only one working, and could not handle the workload of over 600 units. She said this herself, along with the fact that our unit should’ve been unlocked on 2/16/21 due to a holiday on the 15th. I am appalled at the lack of customer service, the lack of diligence to maintain a professional atmosphere for the patrons, and for my inconvenience of not having access to my items out of mere negligence. We will be finding another storage facility as soon as possible. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage Zone - 715 Russell Pkwy include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate and Credit Cards Accepted. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 400 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage Zone - 715 Russell Pkwy start from $39 and can go up to $200 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
