I absolutely loveeeee this place. Clean as ever. Convenience of using your phone to access the building, and they have carts for use. The unit that I have on the second floor is a 10x20, and you could def fit my Jeep in there easily. It’s as big as a 2 car home garage inside, except maybe you’d be able to fit one car in it. But then you’d have sooooooo much more space around it in the front, back, and sides for storing. I love it. Smells nice too. Great lighting. The process was easy. I have adhd and I hate multi-step processes ?????. There was no hassle. Thank you Federal !!! ... Read more

Would be very careful storing my goods at this facility or any 10 Federal storage facility. If a unit actually gets broken to there's no one on site to help you retrieve your property, and their corporate structure makes it impossible for you to get security footage, or any help retrieving your property. They will hide behind their privacy policies, an actively block your request for footage. They're also one of the few storage facilities that I know of that doesn't have a policy about having two employees present when your locks cut is cut for auction, also they have no corporate "Non-Appropriation Policy", basically means they have no policy against employees taking property out of your unit for profit after a failed auction or clean out. You don't have to believe me, you can look at some of their reviews at other facilities. Also I would definitely consider getting outside insurance and not using theirs, they have a terrible reputation for paying out claims. Oh, and before you use their lock, ask yourself do you really want someone you don't know to have the code to your valuables? Literally every employee that works for them has access to that code, at the very least change the code, takes all of 5 seconds. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at 10 Federal Storage - 2990 US-17 include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Retail Available, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Kiosk Available, Parking, Keyless Unit Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
