This storage is under new management and they have phenomenal customer service. They are very friendly and willing to help as much as possible. I rented a storage and the door was getting stuck( not easy to open). They called the maintenance personnel and had it fixed the next day. The communication is amazing and I recently rented a new storage in the organization. The grounds are clean and I would definitely recommend with the hard to beat prices. ... Read more

I’ve been with this Storage company for over three years and I never had an issue. I understand that most companies have to raise their rates. They raise their rates once on me and it wasn’t enough to sneeze at. I still got a great deal with a huge unit. In my opinion, this is a great facility huge unit for the price ... Read more

For starters, several reviews are Extorted by the woman at the front desk who is beyond Wild and Unhinged. She's asked me in the first few years, to review the buisness multiple times, like a Mobile ad on repeat. I never knew harassment came with a unit. 1 review states that, there is new management, this is False, and has been for a decade +. The same roster of employees have remained here, as I've been using this place since 2008. The same woman, whom refuses to assist anyone to this day without some kind of personal gripe, Gets an attitude, can't stand children, and has a Mouth on her. Another recent review, especially with a response, states the Unit is perfect, staff are perfect, which is in pale comparison to my experiences as well as many others I know. A third top review, even denotes that another review is mistaken. Further claims that all of the negative reviews are false. Which has me disgusted, someone is manipulating these reviews for better press. I've owned the exact same Unit, Paid through auto enrollment, and rarely ever have an issue. The few that i do are from the Female behind the Front desk, Calling me about a Missed payment, my unit has something which needs my attention, or some other random reason. How, when i am auto enrolled through a credit card...? Not debit. This woman, who to this day adamantly refuses to give me her name. Must either enjoy my company, or has a screw loose. I wish to contact her boss or buisness to inform them of her very Unhealthy Behavior, and Practices for the buisness, but I never get a creditable source. It's a game of cat and mouse. When I received my Unit however, I spoke with a Male, who was professional about a damn storage unit, unlike this woman. Time to time she will Cop an attitude, scream, spew threats, etc. My storage shed has had nearly 4 break ins as well, and everytime I requested the CCTV footage of the crime, she's denied me, claiming it's the property of the buisness no one else can see it. So I've had the need of police assistance just to get it. They do NOT maintenance any of the units. My shed, I've had to clean myself, quite literally had Mushrooms growing in it. Seeing as I work Nights a lot, it's hard for me to make time to get to the storage shed just to clean it. Flooding during rain storms is also a Huge concern for a lot of people here, as the sewage drains don't collect enough water fast enough. I saw about 7 people cancel there units during a bad thunderstorm, as the majority of their possessions were destroyed. Other times I've opened my unit to find various rodents. It's become a mess here, and it's only been growing since a few years after I got my unit. My door needed WD40, as the chain track was so rusted it would fail to close properly. I pay $120 a month. It's gone up, by $40 since I've used them back in 2008. My friend, as I said prior, used this shed. He canceled as someone broke his Lock, and placed a new lock on his shed. He found his lock on the ground, snapped in half. He attempted to ask the front desk about it, She began cursing him out. He has video, if needed to be provided for evidence. After about 10 to 20 minutes of petty arguing, he calls police, the woman is forced to open the shed after 2 hours of speaking. He cancelled that following week. Her reason? "Oh it wasn't her, it was someone else" luckily, he had a dashcam inside the shed, and recorded her talking with someone else. From what he found out, she genuinely just hated him. Hired someone to break into his unit, and broke the Camera. Since the video was being sent to a server, he got the footage before it was destroyed. He's currently talking with his lawyer about the buisness, as some of his possessions were also unaccounted for, besides the vandalized property. (Other things such as furniture were smashed, some of which were from passed loved ones) So with that, I'm getting ready to find another storage complex. One which is preferably inside, and doesn't hire sociopaths. This place used to be fantastic, its sad to see it in this awful state. ... Read more

As majority of others say, this Storage unit is Genuinely scamming people through Unethical Business practices. apparently you cannot vacate a unit, on the day that it expires, without paying for the rest of the month, full price, even if you're actively vacating it. I've been using this establishment for nearly 4 years, and whatever change they had along the way, Employment roster especially, has decimated their Good Business, into something Vile for the community. Besides hearing from a woman threatening me, that they'd remove my items if I didn't pay in full, as if I've been an awful customer not paying. This disgusts me! I've paid 1 day in advance since getting the unit, and the unit wasn't even decent Quality compared to most others. I was threatened further soon after the first threat. after asking if I still entered the property, to retrieve my belongings, the Rude woman proceeded to even curse at me, quite literally threatening to have police "take me away" Their integrity as a business has completely died, and it's absurd how they handle business like a Rebellious Cheerleader or Prep/Valley girl. If she had been chewing gum, I swear, I would've cancelled on the spot. I've already had my Padlock broken, and had to replace it. In fact, my original padlock, was still left near a fire extinguisher, cut cleanly. The front office had absolutely no Knowledge, even though there's cameras everywhere. Either an employee did it, or someone attempted to while they ALL went "On Break" Doing drugs. (It reeked, it always reeks here!!!) I'm just surprised nobody tried to Steal anything yet, maybe because I have a ring doorbell inside to monitor it, facing directly at the door. It's also had 2 warnings so, I'm genuinely just waiting to get that 1 notification and need to have police settle this dispute until my Unit Expires in a few short weeks. I've also consulted with my lawyer, and we both agreed, it wouldn't be worth taking this to court with such a business that has no care or concern with being abrasively callous. it would be a waste of money. The best I could try for, is Negligence. ... Read more

The owner of this unit is extremely unprofessional. Unfortunately, I have to share this experience online so others can beware of the dishonesty amongst this facility. We won a unit online and it specifically states you only have 48 hours to remove items out of the unit. We informed the owner of this at 11am when unit was won and she stated we cannot come to the unit until 48 hours after purchase because we were “too late” The owner is very unprincipled. Rude, short with you when you ask a question or have a concern. So 48 hours pass and we finally start to pick up items from the unit. We informed the owner that due to the delay she caused for us to pick up our items we were not going to be able to pick up everything. She stated “that’s ok I will just keep your deposit.” We then mentioned to her that our account can be penalized if we do not get everything.” She came back and said “don’t worry I will not report your account.” Come to find out she did report us for failure to pick up all items in 48 hours. With that being said, the owner is Untrustworthy, dishonest, unprincipled, and a scammer. Sad to say. I hate to knock anyone’s business but you cannot run on dishonesty. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Powder Springs Storage - 3745 Powder Springs Road include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 345 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Powder Springs Storage - 3745 Powder Springs Road start from $45 and can go up to $295 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
