Property is somewhat clean, depending on the day. Access to the property is easy and available all day and night. Be aware, there is not a property manager that accessible. The property manager manages another location and “oversees” this property. If you have an issue—good luck! Public Storage chat online doesn’t even have a valid number for the manager. ... Read more

I've been renting since July of 2023. I have always been able to speak and do business with a real person face to face on site. They've changed everything. No one on site. I had to go to the lobby call them to get a person to talk with so they could allow me to transfer. They took my money before I was even able to see the unit and transfer from 1 to the other. The unit I was suppose to transfer to was busted could not lock the unit. So my drive over was for nothing. I had to go back into the lobby area and call someone again. Let them know I could not move to the new unit I paid for and to keep me in my original unit. Lots of paperwork and alot of my time was lost. Ridiculousness I have to say. This is a big thumbs down ?? not a good idea. Below are pics of the broken door lock. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 240 Park Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 240 Park Avenue start from $64 and can go up to $208 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
