Fast forward to the new year. The facility has changed up on who runs things. We received a letter in December stating the rates were changing in January. Then in February we received another letter stating the rates were going up again. I immediately contacted the office and was told they look at rates on a national level. These units are located in the middle of the country, no climate control, and no security other than a fence...why were we about to have to pay almost 200 a month for that? We have removed our belongings and the lady I talked to didn't even care that they were losing business. Poor customer service is what they have now! Bridgette is the facility manager and makes everything smooth and easy!! We are happy to have our things in a safe and secure location. ... Read more

Taylor went above and beyond to assist with an account issue. Even though it took several minutes while I was placed on hold, she always came back to reassure me she was still working on the issue. Well done Taylor! I greatly appreciate you! ... Read more

Has gone down hill since ms.dorsey has sold Jackson lake storage. If everyone paid their storage bill when she owned it, probly would've never had to sell it and never gone down hill. The grass up front is grown shoulder high. Took these new owners (possibly the 3rd company to buy this place) maybe about 5-6 months, maybe longer to finally fix the security gate. In 2018, I paid 75$ for my 10x10 non climate controlled unit. Now I pay 160$ and it took them that long to fix the gate and still not cut the grass for presenting a more professional looking storage unit. Woo they used our raised bill to put up a sign with their name though haha. Glad to say I no longer need this storage unit anymore and happy to share my experience with anyone who is wishing to purchase a unit. As far as I know try stop lock n roll off Salem, my old lady worked there. great people, they take care of their units and security, and I'm sure it's only 10$ more for a climate controlled unit over there don't quote me on that. Or shoot your shot at ko storage. I mean they did just finally fix the gate. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at KO Storage - 4451 Jackson Lake Road include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Enclosed, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by KO Storage - 4451 Jackson Lake Road start from $109 and can go up to $222 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
