It was very easy to rent a space. The only issue I had was I wanted to see the space prior to renting it. However everything is automated and there was no one at the location. Once we rented the space and got access the space we rented was big enough for out house hold items we wanted to put in it. ... Read more

I strongly recommend you avoid this company at all cost. P.S. That lock is not free, you pay for it in more ways than one. Do you really want everyone that works for this company to have the combination to the lock that's on the unit that has your personal items in it. ... Read more

The only reason you should ever store yourself at a 10 Federal Storage is if it's junk that you don't care about. The old saying is you get what you pay for, but with 10 Federal Storage you don't even get that. ... Read more

I’ve been renting storage units for over 10 years. I have NEVER encountered such a negative experience. We drove for 12 hours JUST to start moving our items to storage so that we could hit the road back home. We got there and the code doesn’t work. I called numerous times no response, emailed no response. I had to stay at a hotel $100, cancel my job $352, pay for an extra day of keeping the truck $100 just to stay the night until the next day. The next morning I finally got someone on the phone. My unit has two locks and none of the codes were right. We finally unloaded the items and went home. I called corporate and spoke to Ashley and her compensation was one days rent $8.00. So for the inconvenience of $552 your company's best suggestion was to credit me $8 for your error of not providing the correct code. Your customer service and resolution for my inconvenience says a lot about this company. Just to show how poor your customers service is a customer left a 1 star review (completely found after my trip) and your response was “Thank you for your review! We are happy to hear about your experience. Our team is always here to help.” LMAO you guys are so careless even responding to a negative review was subpar. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at 10 Federal Self Storage - 1930 GA-42 include the following amenities: Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Kiosk Available, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 100 to 720 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by 10 Federal Self Storage - 1930 GA-42 start from $130 and can go up to $536 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
