It’s my first time renting a storage unit, and I’m so glad I picked this place!! There were so many options to choose from when I looked into finding a place. I picked here, and I used the website to reserve & rent my unit. The place itself is SO clean. It was honestly fun walking through it. I’m so happy about choosing this place!! It is very well run ... I rented my storage unit online during a weekend. I didn’t have to see anyone that actually worked in the rental office. One day about three or four weeks later, I met the lady that works in the office and takes care of the place. I want to say she was so sweet and so helpful. I needed a cart because I had a lot of stuff to take to my unit and even though she was about to be off work, she stayed so that I could use the cart and return it to her. She could have just said she was about to get off and not worried about me and my stuff. I want to also say that I have rented from two other places where my unit was climate controlled and they were no where near as clean as this one is. There’s never any debris on the floors and the bathroom is immaculate! You would never think that the bathroom at a storage unit place would be so clean! I forget her name, but she’s awesome!! ... I have had my ups and downs with this company, but here are my most relevant thoughts for anyone thinking about using this storage unit facility. Under the supervision of Twila, I feel very well taken care of at CubeSmart. She has been friendly, takes good care of the facility, and is willing to help out customers however she can. I hope this company treats her well & keeps her around as long as she likes. Ever since the company repaired the electrical wiring and replaced their main doors after Hurricane Helene, I have had zero complaints about the safety or security of this place. I found out recently this company (and possibly other storage unit companies?) surge their unit prices based off unit demand. My monthly rate has been gradually increasing every 4-6 months by $25+ because my unit size and location was in higher demand compared to other units in this facility. I started paying $113 in 2023 and would have paid $213 February 2026 if I hadn’t asked customer service why the unit prices online were cheaper than the rate I was scheduled to pay. Because I mentioned to customer service & Twila my current rate was too high and I was considering moving facilities, they found me a bigger unit that was less in demand for nearly half the price. I’m really glad I was able to switch units instead of moving facilities, but I wish I had known I could have done this sooner instead of paying their higher rates for years. I also hope anyone who sees this review will do their due diligence to help find themselves a better rate. ... Read more

Absolutely horrible storage facility!! Use somewhere else. It’s dirty with trash littered throughout the facility. One day I came and heard someone snoring so there’s definitely someone living here. Customer service sucks and don’t seem to know what’s going on. The entrance in the front of the building doesn’t work so they make you use the back door which is not convenient if your unit is in the front. There used to be carts for you to use to help move your items but those have disappeared. ... Read more

So far its clean and nice. Mr. Bradley was super helpful. The reconstruction of this building was done nicely. Sunday Nov 7. was a very disappointing for me. I had to sit and think about whether I show unload or load my vehicle. Had I known that the construction work would move to the front entrance I would have never moved my stuff into here. Now I have to worry about whether or not I'm going to have access to my thing at any point. I really had to think... in the long run is this going to be successful in the end. There is already one entrance and exit. The back road is completely block off through the back. I'm not sure anymore. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at CubeSmart Self Storage - 400 Pio Nono Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by CubeSmart Self Storage - 400 Pio Nono Avenue start from $14 and can go up to $86 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
