I'm usually not one to leave reviews. But I have experienced this place and moved in last weekend here. Although customer service was on point and the reps who helped me (Belle and Pat) secure a unit were very helpful and understood my needs and got me a good deal, I have a few concerns which caused you all to lose some stars. The first is 1) I understand this is a brand new facility, but it can't be all that new, so tell me why the restrooms are still not ready and open for tenants and movers. 2) It wasn't even a full day of me moving my items into my storage unit that a roach came from out of one of my boxes. I did not see them in my home before moving out. Next thing we see other roaches come from under the unit next door and one of my guests seen more inside and outside the place. So I get it couldn't run from these invaders because most places like this will have them from others moving in. So if you all are wondering who been spraying up all the Raid and Ortho is me because pests are not welcome in my home nor my personal belongings. 3) This place is supposed to be climate controlled so tell me why the thermostat is set to 77 degrees when it's 90 degrees outside. I was so hot while moving my boxes and items around the other day. And you can set the thermostat to like 60 and it still stuck on 77 degrees. It is the perfect temperature for bugs to survive in this place. It should be literally freezing cold in a Storage facility. There are too many tight spaces and too many people items stored close together for it to be this hot in the place! 4) One of the front doors looked like someone has tampered with it and tried to break in because it is too loose. Always deserted outside, so come prepared. I have never seen the on-site property manager here, but I sure hope he or she will see my review. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at City Storage - 1250 Eisenhower Pkwy include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Parking, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by City Storage - 1250 Eisenhower Pkwy start from $27 and can go up to $118 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
