My daughter is a local college student who left everything from her dorm, including all of her fall/winter clothing in a storage unit over the summer. When she returned, her unit had been cleaned out with just a few pieces of her items on the floor. 10 Federal Storage issued her the lock and combination. When she got there it was locked. This leads us to believe that it was someone working for the company who stole everything-thousands of dollars worth of items. Then, they denied the theft insurance claim because there was no evidence of tampering with the lock or breaking in! Ridiculous. ... Read more

This is the worst storage for communication there is. I called to see why my bill went from &59 to $88. I could not get anyone in the phone. I did the put your number and stay in place. And they called back 2 days later. This is the second time I had to say something to them about my bill. My contract says $59 and that’s what I’m going to pay. The worst ever. I don’t know how yall get all these good reviews if you can never talk to any one Ok received a call from 10 federal storage and the price has been adjusted. They were very nice to do that and they could have just let it be. But thankful they were willing to work with so now I am ok with the 4 stars. Thank you 10 federal for offering the help you did. ... (11/20/2024) UPDATE: After submitting evidence, police report, damages etc..My claim was DECLINED! They will not honor you insurance when you file. The claims dept will tell you to call 10 Fed and 10 Fed will tell you to call them. This has been going on for over 3 months!! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM (UPDATED 8/29/2024) If I could give this facility a ZERO that would be too many points. I have TWO units and my furniture and clothing have mildewed in BOTH!!! I was going to get the stuff out of the smaller unit to save what I could, and the boxes collapsed causing my stuff to fall everywhere. I had no time to get all of the stuff out and at that point the stuff was a loss. I called to tell them that and not only are they charging me for the bigger unit, they are charging me for the smaller unit for an entire month. They have stopped my access to the facility until I make the monthly payment on the unit that has my molded items in that was the cause of THEIR facility!! (UPDATE 8/28/2024) My second unit was broken into and no one in the office contacted me.. Someone had been living out of my storage room and this facility would not even let me wait to move my things that I could salvage out of the unit with out charging me a prorated fee! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!! ... Read more

Horrible company, they have no local representation. The gate has been open since early August of this year 2024 it’s now November and they just fixed it. There is trash everywhere by the back gate for over 5 months. Both of my storages a long with 22 others were broken into, we weren’t notified either. I actually called and notified the office representative that’s in a completely different state. They changed my locks and didn’t tell me after my storages were broken into as well. The other people are not making this up, now they’re charging us a 3.99 technology fee per unit and increasing my storage fee to by 50$. I’m already looking for somewhere new and safe. Don’t rent here, save yourself some trouble. One thing Macon ga it has storage company’s everywhere. Horrible Horrible Horrible company, I really would give you negative 5 stars if I could. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at 10 Federal Self Storage - 4100 Riverside Drive include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by 10 Federal Self Storage - 4100 Riverside Drive start from $23 and can go up to $170 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
