I work for the nursing home in town and we have lost our keys and the gate code. Went in and talked to Kristy and Dean to see if they found them .. No luck but they both help me get in the gate . And since I’m new with the company who is renting the units . They called and verified I was OK to go in and got my name put on the list. I will have Mrs.King come by and sign papers work .. But they are very professional and courteous! ... Read more

I signed up online and only had to send my identification so they could verify on their end. I moved in the next day and they provide a lock. The process was so easy and the staff was helpful. No issue so far. Update: Never had an issue with the staff. They are friendly and helpful but I did vacate the unit due to them continuing to go up on storage unit price and insurance. I never thought the price of the unit could go up after you rented it ... Read more

I needed a unit last minute and called this past weekend. I was instructed I could fill out the app within minutes online and have a unit ready same day. I completed everything within less than 10 min online and was very pleased with how quick and easy it was. When I arrived the unit was very clean and easy instructions were provided. You don't have to purchase your own lock either as it's provided with the rental. I've only been with them for less than a week now but management has been pleasant to work with thus far. ... Kristy & Dean went above & beyond today, they were able to help me when I needed it the most & by far the sweetest people I spoken with in weeks. Dean, showed me how to work the lock & made sure I knew exactly where my unit was. Kristy, I walked in with cash & didn’t have away to add it on my card, she quickly found a solution & was able to get me in the system with the best discounts! Definitely 10 outta 10! ... Read more

Had a great experience with FreeUp Storage. Kristy is the best; she was a wealth of knowledge when I called with tons of questions. I stored my college students' belongings there over the summer & it was a game-changer. The process was so much easier. Glad that this business supports the local college, so I shared the discount code in our parent chat. I'll definitely be back but will try to time it a little better with move-out & move-in day, so I won't have to pay for an entire month. Dean was great too; I was able to easily close out my account over the phone. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at FreeUp Storage - 1091 Peach Pkwy include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by FreeUp Storage - 1091 Peach Pkwy start from $27 and can go up to $197 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
