April was very helpful when a family member was moving their units from one to another. She offered us bottled waters and came by several times to check on us. What a great employee you have there. The whole place was very clean and managed well. Great job!!! ... Read more

Jessica went above and beyond regular customer service for me last night, I came in after 5 pm looking for a truck and trailer to tow my broken down Yukon XL back home 4 hours south and though she didn’t have what I needed, she jumped on her computer without hesitating and set up a reservation for me at another U-Haul place that wasn’t closed yet in the next town over! Because of Jessica, I was able to get my Yukon back home last night and to the dealership first thing this morning without stressing over an already stressful situation! She was amazing and so friend, I would recommend her 10 stars ?? if possible!!! Thank you so much for helping me, you saved me so much time and $$$, I really appreciate you Jessica! ... Read more

I give Linda 5 stars! I give the process of renting a unit today through the virtual assistant 2 stars. We were given wrong directions to include a completely different wrong building for our unit! The process with virtual assistant took entirely too long. It was absurd. If I had been able to walk in and talk to Linda I could have been in/out in 10 minutes. Technology is not always best. Bring people back! Linda was great, got us everything we needed and had wonderful customer service skills. ... Read more

Great customer service! Agent explained every detail of what would be charged (no hidden fees) and what sizes available, best deals and how to get on board! There were two people that helped me out and both were great! I do remember the name Lee of one of the personnel that helped me get started! ... Read more

I rented a storage unit to keep some of my son’s items from his dorm for one month during a transition. It was the smallest unit, just to keep his wooden bed frame, boxes, and a few items. I had lost my smell and taste because of Covid so when we were emptying out the storage unit, my son kept saying it smelled weird. We finally realized it was some kind of urine smell. Rodents? Most likely. Were there bugs too? It’s so annoying just to imagine. Whatever we could salvage, I should’ve just thrown away. Not long after, my son started experiencing these random skin irritation and rashes. We could not find any kind of relief for it, and it was spreading. He has still not recuperated from it, and it’s been almost 6 months. I would never think a place would be so careless and negligent. A month worth of trust, will probably cause a lifetime of suffering for my son. Terrible. ... Read more

We had 2 storage units here and under the old owners, it was fantastic. When Midguard took over, it became constant rate increases - at least 3 times a year. This year they added required lock rental with a BS explanation about how it’s for the customer, safety convenience, etc. it’s just another way to add an additional income stream because frankly in 4 years we have never had an issue with security. And to top it off, we bought our old locks from them which were plenty secure - at least that’s what they told us when they sold them to us. Either way, it’s not like they are on the hook for anything as we have insurance. We reduced to 1 unit last month making our monthly rate 182 (does not include the monthly lock rental) and today - one month later, the rate has already gone up $37…a 20% increase…! As soon as possible, I am out of there and I’d advise you not to use this place - at least until they are ready to give you a contract with a fixed rate over a period of time. It has nothing to do with wages as they have cut staffing and as far as I can tell they are outsourcing… ... Read more

Monthly rental was $107, within 5 months raised to 127 with a letter saying employee wages had gone up. OK, fine, but then 6 months later monthly rate went up to 147, then 3 months later 156, and then 3 months later to $193, all within 18 months. Ripoff. Nothing had changed, how do you justify $107 /mo going up to $193/mo in less than 18 months? Never will use them again. ... Read more

The 5-stars I gave previously were for Lock-n-Roll storage which was great. I'll also say Ashleigh, the manager, is fantastic as well, but once Midgard took over, the place really went downhill. Multiple price increases in the same year, and now if I don't remember to send in my insurance policy every year, I get charged for their insurance at a ridiculous rate with no warning. When asked why I didn't get warning, I was told "it's in your contract". That's not customer-friendly to expect me to remember to send you documentation once a year so that you don't charge me an additional "service" that I don't need and didn't sign up for. Now, there's also the additional $5.99 a month for their lock rental which is mandatory. The price gouging at this place has gotten ridiculous. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Midgard Self Storage - 127 Storage Way include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Parking, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Midgard Self Storage - 127 Storage Way start from $83 and can go up to $383 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
