What customers are saying

Read some helpful reviews of Storage Sense at 1050 Pacific Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

This has been the worst experience and we will not be back. We paid for a unit and had to buy the required protection since we did not have our own. Cool that’s fine. Well we go to try to get into our unit and the storage door is wide open with a mattress in it. So we tried to contact the Bremen location and no one would answer. We then call the costumer care team and they stated they couldn’t not get in touch either that they will email them to get a call back as soon as possible and said nothing about the mattress being in there. That was early in the morning. We waited until the afternoon and still had not heard from anybody so we texted the number on the page. To which that number tried to get in touch with the Bremen management with no luck so they told us to remove the mattress and use it and someone else would find it and take care of it to which we did. Then my husband tried to shut the door and the door would not allow to be locked. So we then got in touch with the costumer service team again. They moved our unit so we tried that unit. We were unaware that that unit requires a special lock so we had to go search for that speciality lock in which we could not find it. So we called back customer care and they stated that the location will more than likely sale them but they will let them know to call us back. This is day 2 of us paying for a unit that is supposed to be used automatically and have not been able to be utilized nor get in contact with any of the Bremen team. I called the customer care team because now it states that the Bremen location is closed today which would be fine if they got in touch within the whole day that they were open for. Once I called them this morning and just asked for a refund so that we can go get a different unit because it’s their doing that we cannot use the unit. I got told that he can reach out to the Bremen team to request it but the protection is non refundable. Why keep the protection money when none of this was my doing nor has my stuff been in your unit at all. It would be different if it was my doing that I am no longer using this unit. It’s your fault that we cannot get anyone to reach out to us or help us. Communication would have solved everything. The customer service member that I talked to today was extremely rude and just kept repeating the same thing as above over and over no matter what I stated or asked him. I even stated that i am sorry he is having to deal with this and that I understand this is not his fault that I am just stating my concern to which the response was “again it is non refundable” and his whole spill. I do not recommend these units as the costumer service that I have experienced have not been great at all. I’m not sure about the units them selves as we were not able to use them but customer service is everything to me and this has been nothing but poor. ... Read more

I have nothing but the best to say about FORTRESS STORAGE!!!! I have in the past had the misfortune of rent units from several other companies. And they were all a nightmare from beginning to end!! But not this time. From start to finish this was a dream come true!! I still have a larger unit and love everything about Fortress. And the STAFF!!! Above and beyond wonderful!!!! ... Read more

I moved from a small unit to a larger unit within Fortress Storage - Bremen. So, I am still a customer (For now), but they would not pro-rate a refund for the smaller unit and apply it to my new unit. I could understand this if I were moving out completely. But not when I transferred to a larger unit. I have had a unit for about a year and a half now and a parking spot for around a year. This does not portray a company that values or wants to retain their customers. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage Sense - 1050 Pacific Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 480 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage Sense - 1050 Pacific Avenue start from $30 and can go up to $168 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
