I have rented for over a year.I run my business/ keep my tools there. Their app is a joke. It only gives 1 option for payment It showed my payment was made and no balance due till the following month. Then received a text from them saying that they haven't been paid, locked me out ,and my storage was going to auction. The GM for payments was useless in any kind of help sorting it out. I am paying it again and moving to another Storage. I don't recommend Public storage.Every thing is done by their app ,and it is not doing anything but caused more problems and on top of that , I went there 3 times to find no one manning the desk ... When I first rented a small unit, the rate was good. After a few months, I got a notice of a 33% rate increase. When I called to request a rate reduction, Caroline, a Public Storage agent, was very pleasant & professional & arranged for me to get another space the same size at a significantly lower rate. She met me at the Vero Beach facility on US 1, & walked me thru the paperwork. Thanks, Caroline! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 155 South US Highway 1 include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access and Multi-Level Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 155 South US Highway 1 start from $27 and can go up to $195 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
