I was at FSU to pack my daughter’s apartment and take her home for the summer. We planned on getting on the road at 3 PM, but were running behind, and at 6 PM we realized that everything wouldn’t fit in her car. I googled self storage places and called Tallahassee Saver Storage. The gentleman who answered the phone (Victor, I think?) was so helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He stayed on the phone with me until I had a storage unit reserved and had my gate access code. The unit in Tallahassee is in a nice area. It’s clean and seems very safe. Also, the price is one of the best I found. I really appreciate that they were able to help us at the last minute and save us a lot of stress! And I’ll say it again, the gentleman who helped me was fantastic! To add onto this feedback after getting all of my daughter‘s items out of storage to move her back in at school, the closeout process was as easy as the opening process and everyone who answered my questions by phone and email was very helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend TSS and use them again myself! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Saver Self Storage - 1750 Norman Park Drive include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 360 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Saver Self Storage - 1750 Norman Park Drive start from $34 and can go up to $214 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
