Facility in poor condition. Dry wall tape peeling off. Roof leaked for first six months. Roaches present every time I went there. No food or consumables in my items. I provided advance notice of move out. They then raised my rent. After advised local manager that I was out two weeks early and my unit empty and swept clean they auto billed me the higher rate and will not refund. Scam! The local staff was fine polite and well spoken. There is nothing they could do to help. The company and upper management is the problem. ... Read more

I've been there for a while now, and pricing is a little high but, it is what it is. My biggest issue has been the elevator not working for months now. I'm on the second floor and having to bring everything up and down the stairs constantly has been a bit annoying. I will state that I almost never give 5 stars to anyone until less it exceeds my expectations greatly. I'm still appreciative to have a place for storage and I do feel that my stuff is safe there. ... Read more

Requested a bottom floor but was given an upstairs unit. I guess only 5x5s are upstairs.I was also surprised that it looked like upstairs a woman was living in one of the units. I left a message letting management know but never received a return phone call. The girl in the office I believe her name was Kia was very helpful and courteous ... Read more

Stored a boat there for 1-2 months, realized that the parallel parking space I was using wasn’t going to work for a trailered boat. So I moved my boat elsewhere tried to contact anyone at location multiple times and door was always locked during normal day business hours and then contacted customer service about it and thought i was good. Then tried to charge me $200 next month for that spot so I stopped the charge (wasn’t there and made plenty of effort to let them know I wasn’t going to store there) and now they want to give it to a collection agency. The one right next store is much nicer use them ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 6820 Seminole Blvd include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 6820 Seminole Blvd start from $35 and can go up to $221 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
