Read some helpful reviews of 24/7 Store It at 5111 Doug Taylor Circle, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Everything is good except the prices are just way too high. We could use somebody on weekends and holidays that we could contact in case of an emergency. Also, it would be much better if they went back to being open 24–7 that’s what we originally paid for. ... Read more

We have been with 24/7 Store It since 2022. They used to be very kind, friendly and helpful on the phone, but ever since the new customer service switch - they are TERRIBLE!! We are currently on the phone with a Mel, and she has been rude since the start of the conversation. This has been the standard for a while and shouldn't be tolerated. ... Read more

I’m overall pleased with this storage facility and love the convenience it offers to me! I also love the security of it all and feel at ease with my belongings here. Con’s: - I miss the 24 hour availability only because I work late and while in the process of moving I don’t have much time to take loads to my unit with it closing at 10pm now. - I have had an issue with my lock not properly opening often! However, after reaching out to the office staff (only during office hours available) they get on it pretty quickly to correct it. Overall, I’d suggest this facility for many other reasons! ... WORST STORAGE FACILITY IN EXISTENCE. The staff thinks they know us islanders and our needs and wants. They never show up or pick up. Good luck trying to have your issues fixed right away. Get locked out because of a battery on their lock gadgets and don’t get access to your door for months! New management, but that won’t last just like every other management hasn’t lasted. This one is a big corporation too so I’m sure they’ll just check boxes off and listen to you even less than the ones before. ... Read more

Getting into a unit was incredibly easy, contacting for issues or moving out is near impossible. I had lost access to my unit for three weeks at one point during my use of the facility. After multiple calls and messages, I was able to talk to someone once. They said they would take care of it within the next day or two. It wasn’t and I could not get back hold of anyone. I was lucky and ran into the maintenance guy one time when I was checking if it had been fixed, who swapped out the battery for my unit so I could regain access. When I was ready to finally move out, I called (no one answered, so I had to leave a message) emailed and sent a message though the app. No response. They continued to charge my credit card and I had to dispute the transactions and eventually put a merchant block on them. I am now getting messages, emails, and calls about late payment, etc. I do not recommend this company unless you enjoy a complete lack of communication. ... Read more

I had an air conditioned unit. I think the best part of using 24/7 storage, is the staff. Anytime there was a question or I just needed assistance....... I'd call and everything and anything was quickly taken care of. The folks there are extremely caring and polite. They have wonderful personalities and always go above and beyond. ... Read more

We had our climate controlled storage unit for 4 years. In this timeframe, we had Hurricane Ian destroy our home. Fortunately, our storage unit had zero damage. This was important because most everywhere on Pine Island had massive destruction. We only have one suggestion. Have a person "on call" for weekend and holiday issues. ... Read more

If I could give no stars I would. This facility is the worst I have ever seen. It’s horrible. It’s ran from out of state, there is no one on site that will assist with any issues and trust me, there will be issues. Read the other reviews, all 1 star. I had issues with my lock not working, my doors not opening due to damage. Both caused me to not be able to access my unit. And since there is no one on site, you can’t get help. I had one unit wheee the door wouldn’t close and I had to leave it open for more than a day. The same unit wouldn’t open for close to a month cause it me to have to move to another. Did I get credited for the move? Nope, nothing. And on top of everything else they will lock you out on the 2nd, no grace period. The contract states that you aren’t in default until 5 days late but that doesn’t matter to them. No grace period. I think if these people had to actually interact with there customers things would be a lot different. Good luck to all who try. ... Read more

I rented a unit on line as there appears to be no office. I downloaded the app, followed all instructions. It sounded simple enough. I loaded up all of my things to be stored. I was able to make quick entry into the facility. I found my unit and then was unable to access the unit. I have sent numerous emails, submitted a message thru their app portal and tried calling the phone number. I even downloaded the app on someone else’s phone, went back up there and had the same issue. Able to get in and out of the facility(thank goodness). It has been 3 days since I rented the unit. No one has contacted me with any help. All of my things are still in my truck. Very disappointed in the lack of any customer service or help trying to access the unit. Your phone and the app is your key to access the unit…..there is no other alternative. I think someone did not sync my unit with my information. As of right now I don’t recommend renting a unit from this place but if you live on Pine island this really is your only option. I will update my review if I am ever able to make contact with a live person and actually access the unit I prepaid for. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at 24/7 Store It - 5111 Doug Taylor Circle include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Parking, First Floor Access and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 20 to 396 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by 24/7 Store It - 5111 Doug Taylor Circle start from $23 and can go up to $258 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
