very unpleasant conversation with the manager. I needed storage and I needed to clarify a couple of questions. 1. are there electrical outlets? 2. can I send my parcels there? as soon as I tried to ask these questions, I was told that they needed my first and last name. I said that I was not ready to provide my personal information until I found out that they had a unit suitable for me. the manager continued to rudely insist that I provide my first and last legal name, email and my phone amazing impudence! I am not a client yet and am not ready to be their client, and they have already interrogated me and completely transferred my personal data. to get answers to my questions, I provided them with a fictitious first name, last name and phone number. but this did not help me get answers to my questions, after I asked if there were sockets in their premises, the manager asked the stupidest question - what do you need sockets for? I asked if he understood what the point of the sockets was? What are they for anyway? She demanded that I explain as precisely as possible what I needed the sockets for. I couldn't take it anymore and refused this place. This is the worst storage rental experience. Public storages are the worst. Moreover, they now have my phone number and while I am writing this review, they have already sent me 3 text messages with their offers. It's just a nightmare. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 4811 North University Drive include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 20 to 360 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 4811 North University Drive start from $52 and can go up to $547 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
