Read some helpful reviews of iStorage at 8825 NW 13th Street, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Great experience so far. I rented a unit online and Victoria from the store called to fill me in on the details, see if I had any questions and let me know that she had checked my unit and made sure everything was in working order and ready for my arrival. She verified my gate code and tested it to make sure it was ready, so I had no issues when I arrive. Absolute 5 star service! ... Read more

I have been a customer for several years now. The place is kept clean. Access during hours of operation is easy. All of my stuff is secure and temperature controlled. So far, this is the best storage rental I've had. It's also the people here who make a difference. Joseph is awesome. Victoria is very personable, engaging, and on top of things. Joseph, Congratulations on the new baby!!! ... Read more

Just signed up for this place and I love it! Hidden away off across from Turkey Creek behind the tracks. The lady (dang I forget her name I think she is the new owner) is so sweet and welcoming when I showed up for the first time. Signing up online is so easy and I do love to complain but I cannot. Facility is nice and clean I highly recommend and its cheaper than the other places around from what I saw. ... Read more

Awful storage space. As of September 2025 there is no operating AC and they “have been aware of no climate control since July.” There was no contact to the tenants about their AC units not working. Rat and mice traps everywhere. No functioning doorstops or provided door stops. Dirt hallways that become slippery. When approached about the inoperable climate control all was offered is “you can move into a semi-cooler unit.” We moved out and are done paying over $160 a month for an out of contract storage unit. When this was a personal mini storage it was up-kept and the staff was always communicating with us. Guess the personal left with that company and iStorage is only about collecting money and not meeting contract standards. Don’t throw your money into this pit esp in humid and hot Florida. ... Debra S. - 25 February 2025
Joseph was very helpful when I was finally connected with his office. He gave me directions to the office and got me all signed up for my unit in the annex in Alachua. I just wish he had given me a map to the unit. The building has several fire doors so locating it was a little nuts. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at iStorage - 8825 NW 13th Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by iStorage - 8825 NW 13th Street start from $54 and can go up to $234 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
