Read some helpful reviews of 34th Street Mini Storage at 3447 SW 42nd Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Had a storage room for a few months and thought it was clean, accessible, and great. The gentleman that I called to ask a few questions regarding the storage room prior to acquiring it was amazing. However, today, I called in to cancel my storage room and I had the worst service ever. The guy was presumably older and gave the worst attitude, tone, and service. He continuously asked me what my unit was and I gave him the correct unit. However, he said I was wrong. However, after a few minutes, he repeated the unit # I gave him, realizing I was correct, and hung up immediately. Before I could even ask a question to ensure that my storage room was cancelled, he hung up right on me. I am extremely disappointed with this service and felt disrespected. I am not the type to do a review, in fact, this is my first review. However, this service has left me feeling disrespected, as the whole time the guy spoke to me as if I was inferior and lacked knowledge. ... Read more

The gentleman that runs the place is very respectful and decent. He could've taken advantage of me financially but cut me a break out of decency and fairness. He has always been available and kind in every interaction. ... Read more

Have had storage there for years. Climate control at reasonable prices. Only reason I gave up my unit was because I moved. Otherwise I'd still be a tenant. Staff was very understanding when my payment was a bit late. Would definitely rent a unit there again if I had the need and it was closer to my new apartment. ... Read more

Nice, clean facility. Absolutely no parking. Manager maybe needs to tell other customers that all of the karts aren't theirs.. you don't have to use ALL of them at once , share with other people doing the same thing you are. ... Read more

Easy to get to and never had any problems. Additionally they always respond to my emails, usually within an hour but always within one business day. After signing up for your locker you can register on their website and setup automatic payments which is also extremely convenient. ... Read more

Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by 34th Street Mini Storage - 3447 SW 42nd Avenue start from $80 and can go up to $289 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
