Hi. I rented a unit from you today but I am very disappointed. It was supposed to be a 5' x 10' unit. However, it looked a bit small to me so I measured it. I was shocked to find out that it doesn't even measure 9ft wide. let alone 10. It is actually 4 inches short of 9ft. Naturally I feel cheated - anybody would. So, if I give you a bad review or do not want to recommend you to any friends or family, you know why. Why you couldn't just list it as a 5x9 unit, I will never understand, seeing that you already have 5x7 and 5x8 units. I am just very, very disappointed in you as a company. ... Read more

The little short guy that live on the property was terrible, very rude and call police as if I was gonna run away without getting a full refund first. It was clear they only want a certain kind to rent to because they got a rent free watch dog there. ... Read more

I had an incredible experience with Jose at iStorage on November 18. His customer service was nothing short of exemplary! He was attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about their customers, and Jose truly stands out. Thank you for making the process seamless and stress-free. Highly recommend working with him! ... Read more

DO NOT rent from here! I've had my stuff in a storage unit for 6 months. My unit is full of Rat droppings!. The rats chewed through my washing machine hose, my couch cushions!! Roof of unit is falling apart. Most disgusting place I have ever seen! Man in the office has such an attitude when you approach him about anything! They had the audacity to raise the rent from $88 to $120.00. Please stay away if you want your stuff back in the same condition ... Read more

Regrettably, I must share my extremely disappointing experience with I-Storage. My time with them has been riddled with distress. Not only did my storage unit fall victim to a break-in resulting in the theft of valuable items, but I was shocked to find out that homeless individuals were occupying the premises. The utter lack of security measures and oversight is deeply concerning, revealing a blatant disregard for the safety and protection of customers' belongings. I strongly caution against entrusting your possessions to this facility unless you're willing to gamble with their safety. It's truly disheartening to witness such negligence from a company tasked with safeguarding people's belongings. ... Read more

I wish there was an option for a negative rating (this 1 star is overrated). How can a storage company offer insurance to you at the time of your rental agreement, but when your stuff is damaged from flooding in the unit, they tell you it's nothing they could do about it. ?? Keep in mind I have been paying the insurance for over 80 months, and the property itself has insurance that covers floods, but it won't cover our property stored I side. There is so much damage to the point that everyone is being evicted. I will be taking this to the courts?? ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at iStorage - 540 SW 27th Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by iStorage - 540 SW 27th Avenue start from $37 and can go up to $499 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
