I had an absolutely great experience at Public Storage, thanks to Leann. From the moment I walked in, she was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. She took the time to understand my needs and helped me choose the perfect size storage unit without trying to upsell or rush me. Leann’s customer service is truly top tier. She was professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire process smooth and stress free. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about helping customers the way she does. If you’re looking for storage in Crestview, ask for Leann you won’t be disappointed! ... Read more

Professional, clean, and caring. Dependable service and above and beyond care given by Sonnet and LeAnn. Old fashioned, valued, and excellent customer service was shown up to and after completing our storage needs. A refreshing reminder so needed in today's business practices. Thank you again LeAnn and Sonnet. You will be my #1 choice for future needs. ... Read more

These units are the best in the area. Super easy access to your unit. User friendly 24/7 availability and no codes to remember because it’s all done through the app. Blake the manager is super friendly and helpful too and has made the process of putting all our cherished belongings in to their climate controlled units. Great prices too. ... Read more

Had the pleasure of having Blake work with me on a storage unit that fit my needs. He was very professional and took time away from his day to answer my hundred questions. After finding the right unit he then helped me set up my account and got everything squared away. Top notch service from Blake. Thank you! ... Read more

This facility is clean and has friendly staff, but their corporate offices increased my monthly rent from $38 to $100 without any forewarning or communication. Typical corporate greed. There are other storage facilities on S Ferdon Blvd that are equally as clean and secure with cheaper monthly rental prices. ... Read more

I am incredibly frustrated and disappointed that Public Storage doesn’t offer 24/7 access, especially given the extensive security measures in place, including the app and gate codes. Customers are paying a significant amount to store their belongings, yet the gate access is cut off at 9 PM. This evening, after spending most of the day downsizing and loading up, I arrived at the facility at 9:30 PM, only to find out that the gate was already closed. The intercom simply directed me to “see manager,” and the website states the gate closes at 9 PM. This lack of flexibility is a huge inconvenience, and now I have to find another storage solution because of it. It’s frustrating that a service we pay for doesn’t provide the access we need when we need it most. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 408 Brookmeade Drive include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
