Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 6000 Coral Ridge Drive, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

????? We had an excellent experience at the Public Storage located at 6000 Coral Ridge Drive. Brenda went above and beyond to help us during a very challenging situation with our car, which was being transported from California and wasn’t delivered until late in the evening. She was incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure everything went as smoothly as possible. What impressed us most was that she even followed up with us afterward to make sure everything had gone well. That level of customer service is rare and shows how dedicated she is to her customers. If you’re looking for a storage facility with exceptional customer service, I highly recommend the Public Storage at 6000 Coral Ridge Drive. Thank you, Brenda, for your kindness, professionalism, and outstanding support. You truly made a stressful situation much easier. ... Read more

I want to start by saying the local staff at the 6000 Coral Ridge Drive location is great—friendly and helpful. However, the corporate policies and actual facility conditions make this a terrible place to store your belongings. First, Public Storage’s corporate pricing is absolutely predatory. I initially rented three lockers because they were very competitively priced. Within just one year, my rent skyrocketed to 3x the original amount. Once you are locked in, they know how difficult it is to move your things, and they exploit that leverage. I noticed they are now advertising a "one-year fixed price guarantee"—likely because they screwed over so many loyal customers like me and people are finally leaving in droves. Second, and perhaps even worse, the facility has a persistent, severe mold issue. You would think that paying for indoor climate control/air conditioning would protect your belongings, but there is clearly no moisture or mold control in the building. If you put perfectly clean, non-molded items in here, they will be totally covered in mold within 3 months unless you hermetically seal absolutely everything in heavy plastic. Between the bait-and-switch pricing and coming back to ruined, moldy belongings, this has been an incredibly stressful and costly experience. I will never use Public Storage again, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere. ... Read more

Amazing for the first time of renting a storage unit, Monica was the one who helped me and she was so easy going and sweet to talk to, she singe handedly made the whole process feel so easy and light! Way to go Monica! ... Read more

I don’t even know where to start, i have been using this storage facility for quite some time and it has ended on a horrible note! Public storage is the absolute worst company to deal with and their management is a trickle down effect. I had over 20K in high end Ralph Lauren furniture damaged from a water leak coming through the foundation and the exterior wall. The nice lady at the front reached out to the District Manager name Louis and all Louis offered was to throw away my belongings, WHAT ABOUT THE DAMAGED FURNITURE?!?! These pieces are priceless that i had with my deceased husband that had sentimental value that are now ruined! He couldn’t even do right by prorating the rent or even eliminating the payment for the 4 days of the month because I had to leave. The entire first floor smells like mold, it’s terrible! DO NOT RENT HERE! The place is filled with mold and is gross! I wish I could leave zero stars! ... Read more

Yes this facility is clean and safe. But after 8+ years, I've been priced out. The "month to month" rate creeped up to $390 for a 10x15 unit. I called customer service and they refused to lower my rate. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 6000 Coral Ridge Drive include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 6000 Coral Ridge Drive start from $48 and can go up to $496 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
