Read some helpful reviews of iStorage at 3000 South Congress Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I had a bunch of questions and Jasmine who was working the concierge or front desk at the time was very sweet and explained things to me perfectly. It’s not easy choosing a storage unit but I truly felt like Jasmine made me feel heard and cared for. Thank you for being kind and going over all my questions and overthinking. ... Read more

This not a safe and secure storage facility by any means. This a storage efficiency facility people are literally living there and they have all kind of illicit activities going on I don't want to mention on Google. The storage management team have either have no idea of what's going on around the property of they just don't care. The so called climate control units air conditioning doesn't work the units are hot as hell and you'll be paying close to 500$ a month for them and the units will not keep your personal belongings cool. And don't get me started on the rats and roaches because there is no pest control protocols in place. The property gate is always broken and people having around the units like it's the corner store. I'll have pictures soon and I will call the health department because it’s illegal to live in a storage apartment ... Read more

If I could rate zero stars or negative that would be appropriate. A year ago I rented a space with I storage mainly because it's close toy apartment and cheap. Well let me say that was a mistake. After paying all my balances in full for the first 7 months I had a few financial issues. After month or two I had called to make an arrangement to pay down my balance and Jose who was manager at the time worked with me. I had it paid down to very little and within 2 weeks when my next payment came up that was includes with paying it down it triples from 150 to 480 in 2 weeks. When I questioned it they said that my monthly rate had gone up and the added 20% on top of it. And they never notified me. They never notified me about anything except a lien on my belongings or if they wanted to auction my unit. When I questioned that I got lies to and said they sent a letter that's what the system says. But just cause it's in the system doesnt mean it's true So they locked me out of my unit. My mother helpede by paying a 480 balance in April to have my unit unlocked so I can go and remove my belongings. But the day I went in to remove a few belongings about a week later I was still locked out and they said cause I was a few days late on my payment and they refused to unlock my unit along with a lot of lies about why and what they said the law is which they are wrong. I have spoken to judges and attorneys that specialize in storage cases. They have violated my contract I have with them and blame me. The manager there now Carlos is a little snake he lies and says whatever he wants to and them blames you. I have not paid since they locked my unit after I paid 480 to have it unlocked. Why should I pay when I have no way of getting to my belongings. It's like paying rent and not being allowed to live where ur paying rent. So I called corporate and have an investigation going on with the manager and the grounds. They have cockroaches throughout the buildings and eats to. People actually living in the bigger outside units and it's very sketchy there and dangerous specially towards night fall. They are not registered with the better business bureau as they will not go by the bbb standards. They are rude and lie and keep you locked out of your unit no matter if you are up to date on payments or not. They will also cancel your renters insurance cause they get mad. The manager should be paying my fees due to locking me out and making my child go without what he needs that is in storage he should also pay all my expenses that I had to pay doe since they locked my wins clothes and my work clothes in the unit. They don't follow the law either. They will try and send your stuff to auction and you will. Have to fight them as I am. Of they auction off my belongings there will be a lawsuit against the company and the manager personally along with being reported into places for all the ground violations at a county city and state level. DO NOT WASTE YOU'RE TIME OR MONEY HERE. It's not worth the stress. This place needs to be torn down or revamped with new staff and go according to the laws. The manager Jose is not worth dealing with on any level. ... Read more

Have had a storage unit for years, not a problem unless you have a problem. My door on, my unit was sticking, making it difficult to get in or close up. I called, and the call got routed to someone, and they set a message for them to call me. they'd call back. No call by 3 days, so I called again. They said they escalated my call, and I'd hear back in 72 hours. 72 hours came and gone, so I called again. I finally got Jose, who said he's there only from 2 to 6. He was pleasant and helpful but had no clue or messages about my issue. I mer him at 2:30 the following day and he fixed the door. Thanks Jose! I'd like few weeks off my bill as I couldn't get in. Anyway, I got my holiday stuff out in time. Poor service. ... Read more

They raised my rent only 2 months after moving in from $154 to $199. Had I known my rent was going to be raised within that time period I would’ve never left my old storage facility. I moved here because it was cheaper than my last facility. I even asked them if they could keep my rate that I moved into for at least a year. They declined. Wouldn’t even give me a refund for the month I prepaid so I can move into another facility. This property sure as hell ain’t worth the money I’m paying monthly. Ridiculous. ... Read more

This storage facility shows to be open on google - it is 11am on a Tuesday. I called and called to no avail - so I drove over to speak to someone in the office and there is a very unofficial looking handmade sign that says they don't open until 2pm each day and close by 6pm. Only 4 hours each day and closed on Sundays... Im not sure how in the hell they are going to stay in business. But moreover, they have def lost mine. ... Read more

Management had not been in the office the past 2 days. Showed up this morning there is a sign they will not show up until 10:30am. Gates were WIDE OPEN!! Even one gate was chained open. Majority of the photos on here look altered or fake. This is the real deal I’ve attached. Very sketchy place. Some guy was driving in his overly lifted car blasting music through the storage unit. ... Read more

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 20 to 636 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by iStorage - 3000 South Congress Avenue start from $20 and can go up to $1,377 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
