Read some helpful reviews of LocalStorage at 1732 Derby Milford Road, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

As long as you don't need help or access or anyone to talk to , space is space. You cannot reach these people and the only thing they're interested is getting your money. they changed the access to the yard and made it difficult to create a number you can remember. Makes it tough to access your stuff. ... Read more

I have been a customer of the LocalStorage in Derby for some time, before it was taken over by LocalStorage. What I expect from a storage facility is convenience and no problems and that's what I got. During the transition to the new owners few issues arose, as to be expected, but were quickly resolved. The customer service has been very responsive and accommodating, I highly recommend LocalStorage ... Read more

Well run facility. Excellent service. They allow car storage without an extra fee if discussed beforehand. Storage spaces are standard size; despite being 10' wide, the doors are only about 8' wide and a little over 6' tall -- so for the most part only smaller cars could feasibly be stored inside a unit (my '17 F150 is a smidge too tall). The business is family-run and rates are reasonable (better than Public Storage). Highly recommend! ... Read more

This is a great place to use for storage. Laurel the woman that runs the office was great. She was not like the people at most places like this. Instead of just giving me sizes of the units, she actually walked us to the see which one would better serve us. The units are clean, easy to get to. They are very affordable and you are not locked into any long contracts. Best of all I received a little thank you not which I thought was nice. I highly recommend this business. And thanks to Laurel for the great customer service.?? ... Read more

I'd like to thank Laurel and crew for their hospitality and assistance in helping us choose what we needed for my mothers furniture. The storage compartments were always clean along with the grounds. The ability to get in and out whenever needed was a blessing. I would highly recommend Town Line Storage to anyone that's conscious in keeping their belongings safe. When needed again, you'll be hearing from us again. All the best to Laurel and staff. Your friend Angelo & Jane ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at LocalStorage - 1732 Derby Milford Road include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 75 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by LocalStorage - 1732 Derby Milford Road start from $39 and can go up to $89 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
