Lovely transition over from U-Haul who kept raising my prices way too much. The manager Deloris that helped me get in was such a sweet heart! So helped me with things I couldn’t figure out online and was just the sweetest happiest person to encounter. Some of the best customer service I’ve had! She really knows how to do her job well! ... Great storage facility. I had stored my items for over a year while I was working out of state and when I came back to remove my items all my items were just as I had left them. There was no spiders nothing. It was just beautiful. When I had questions the attendant that works there was I was very prompt and helped me with any issues such as I forgot the code to sign in called her immediately and she was right at the front door so the person that's working at storage King I believe it's a lady was amazing customer service very prompt and fast whenever you had an issue so I would always recommend this place for anybody needing storage. ... Multiple rate increases in the short time I’ve been with them. I’m about $200/mo for a medium sized storage area. The rate increases were significant Update: 5/19/2025 After receiving the comment from the owner to reach out and discuss the rate increases, I did reach out. They were kind enough to point out if I wasn’t happy with the rate increases that I can cancel my unit and go elsewhere. They were also extremely helpful with walking me through the process of canceling my unit without that question even being asked! Outstanding! ... Read more

Dolores has been absolutely wonderful to work with. I had a very unfortunate passing where I needed to take over our storage quickly. She worked with me every step of the way and through any challenges I encountered. The property is always well-maintained and she goes out of her way to ensure that anyone's storage unit is free of any problems. I would absolutely use Storage King if I needed to. Thank you, Dolores, for working with me. ... Read more

I do not recommend wasting your time with renting at this facility. 2/7-2/8 I rented an indoor unit online and got the gate code via email 2/9 - I showed up at 830am and the gate code did not work. The phone number listed online went straight to an automated system so I called the phone number listed on the door, the call went straight to voicemail. I called 10 minutes later and again the call went straight to voicemail. At this point I decided I would call during the week and get this corrected so there would be no issues the following weekend. I called during the week to change the gate code and I was told something about it being a Sunday and them having issues with the system on Sundays and that I should have called the number listed on the door. 2/14 I showed up after office hours, I was able to get into the gate without issue. I eventually I found indoor storage units in an unmarked building but when I tried to enter the building there were no lights and no light switches. I decided I would return the following morning during business hours and get assistance if there still were no lights in the building. 2/15 I got to the storage facility at 930am, I again try to enter the building I believe the unit is in. I walk in and the door closes behind me leaving me in a completely dark space and I still am unable to find any type of switch. I then go to the office and the door is locked, I try to call and get no answer. I am forced to leave the complex to get the phone number listed on the front door. When I call the number listed I wake up Dolores the Manager of the storage unit and she tells me the breaker must have blown and she will be there in 30 minutes. I leave the storage facility and return a half hour later and Dolores has still not arrived. At 1030am I get a call and was told thank you for providing a wake up call and I was wrong about the light. I was told the light is working, it’s a motion light and she should have thought to tell me that when I initially called. I start to explain how frustrating this process has been and Dolores decides it’s appropriate to end the call. I felt this was a very inappropriate response and called back to request a refund because I do not feel comfortable moving my belongings into this facility or wasting anymore time trying to do so. I was told by Dolores she would need to reach out to her regional manager because it had been more than 72 hours. I explained I attempted to enter the facility within 72 hours and was unable to do so and I expect her to share that information. I asked Dolores when I would hear back so I would not need to bother her anymore. She told me I would hear back that day (Saturday) or the very latest Monday. It is now Wednesday and I have not heard back. I can’t trust if something were to happen in the future the response from Dolores would be anything but poor excuses. I do not believe it should be this hard to access an already paid storage unit on the weekends. And if I haven’t been able to access this unit I think it would be fair to provide me the refund I have requested. Update: I have already been provided more excuses by Dolores and there is nothing she can do. Responding and providing me Dolores’ phone number is not going to solve anything and adds more frustration to this unpleasant experience. ... Read more

My storage unit is great, clean and easy accessible no doubt about it… BUT THE INCREASE RATES LOOK LIKE THIS. My first time Renting looks like this administrative fee. UPDATE*** After a rough start, and a tempestuous review (below), I can honestly say I am very pleased and impressed with Storage King and their manager Dolores. My first review was not pleasant AT ALL, and I regret posting it. After I was unable to gain access to the facility or to my unit, even though I had paid and received confirmation and assignment of a unit and code, I immediately posted a negative review which I usually wait several days before doing so. Unfortunately the facility manager (Dolores) was sick on the Saturday that I rented my unit, and so the office was not open, which is why I was unable to gain access. Plus, the office is closed Sunday and Monday as their normal days off. To add to the problem, there was a phone issue that prohibited the main office from reaching Dolores which further delayed her getting in touch with me. Needless to say, once she and I were able to connect, and I was given the full explanation for the misunderstanding, I realized that I had been impatient and impulsive in my review. Dolores actually went ABOVE and beyond to help make this bad situation better. She called me a few times even though I was unavailable, she tried reaching my wife... and finally realized my son had a unit in the same facility and contacted him in an attempt to reach me and make this better. She was very pleasant, and courteous, as well as got me a better unit location for me. She truly values her customers and she felt terrible about how things transpired. I too, apologized for my reaction and so I thought I should write a more accurate review. Storage King, and more specifically Dolores, has some of the best customer service I have experienced in a great long time. She is upbeat, positive, genuine and pleasant. Her focus is on her customers, and the facility is kept up very well. The units are clean and easily accessible... I actually could not be happier. Thank you Dolores, for turning a bad experience into one of the best I have had in quite a while. Original Review: 1 STAR Not impressed AT ALL so far... Rented a unit Saturday afternoon online (which is great by the way), received a confirmation email with the unit number AND gate access code. Went down to access my unit around 5:30pm and they were closed (close at 3pm). But gate access is until 10pm so no big deal right? WRONG!!! My gate access code was not working, so we used my sons code to get in as he also has a unit there, and my unit already had a lock on it. They're closed Sunday AND Monday, so I can't get any live person to help in until Tuesday now. Forget calling the site phone number, you get someone in sales who can relay your message to the site manager but can't help you directly, or you can leave a message on their machine and then they'll call you back in a couple days when they're back in the office. So... three lost days of storage that I've already paid for. A piece of business advice... if you're not going to allow customers to access their unit after signing up online and providing them with a unit number and gate code, then DON'T rent units to them online and take their money. I'm not happy with the start to this rental. I've got a truck and trailer full of supplies that I'm having to drag around now because Storage King can't seem to manage new unit rentals very well. And... having hours Tues-Fri 9-5:30 and Sat 9-3 isn't very convenient for people who work. So if you're going to rent, make access easier to both customer service and facilities. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage King USA - 5650 West Coca Cola Place include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage King USA - 5650 West Coca Cola Place start from $31 and can go up to $299 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
