My name is Enrique Henry Lopez. I've had my belongings stored here at public storage for the last couple months. The worker Diana and this other gentleman that works in the morning are very helpful and very kind. Diana, always answers your questions very professionally. She is the kindest, sweetest and the hardest worker I've ever encountered. I wish you could find more people like her. Then again, there's only one her in this world and she works for public storage and I am so grateful and so pleased of the way she treats me with kindness, dignity and respect as well as the other clients that come here. Keep up the good work and thank you for the amazing things and the amazing people that you have working for you. Have a wonderful day. God bless America as well as public storage. ... Read more

I've had a horrible experience here with heartless corporate management, they do not care about your personal belongings especially Diane at the office she gives the fakest "how are you doing" She is lazy, evil and seemed to have something against me and she might be conspiring with auction buyers. I've been paying for storage unit here about a year and half and just recently I was about 1 month and 2 weeks late. Im answering phone calls and even showing up the office attempting to make partial payments. Diane can see I care about my unit and trying to pay, but it was promptly auctioned off for $230 when she would not accept $230 from me to save my own storage unit. My mom and I lost personal belongings that deeply affect us and will forever regret working with public storage. Our stuff got rained on twice because unit had a leak and Diane laughed in my face at the thought of being rained on a 3rd time. 4.6 billion dollar a year corporate company here that does not care about you or your belongings. ... They gave us a great rate to move in! I asked how soon our rates would increase. Was told in the future they usually all go up a bit. Well the future was just at maybe the 2 month point!!! It went up immensely!!! I would never go with this company again. The last one took a year to go up and we stayed with them for years. They'd do price changes at the years time. Never again!!!! ... I had an amazing experience with Dianna at Public Storage on Romero Rd. I needed to rent a unit in Phoenix, and the team at Public Storage went above and beyond to assist me. They made the entire process seamless, ensuring that I was able to finish the process in my home city, and answered all my questions ensuring it was a smooth process from beginning to end. A special shoutout to Lisa at the Public Storage off Black Canyon Hwy—property 21112, she was super helpful, professional, and incredibly friendly. She took the time to walk me through everything and made it easy to handle this transaction remotely. It’s rare to find such great customer service these days, but both locations truly exceeded my expectations. ... Read more

This facility is wonderful! It is easily accessible for unloading/loading items, very secure and clean! Dianna was absolutely amazing and went far out of her way to make sure that our cross-country move / storage needs and the timing of our move went smooth. She made us feel very welcomed to the facility and Tucson and we are so fortunate to have found this storage location. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 3851 North Romero Road include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 40 to 320 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 3851 North Romero Road start from $50 and can go up to $222 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
