If I could give zero stars I would. There is hardly ever a time during regular business hours that someone is in the office which is incredibly inconvenient. My gate code would not work today and my vehicle was stuck inside the facility for over 45 mins which made me late for work. Another customer let me out. No resolve from the business or their employees. I will be terminating my rental agreement today. ... Read more

Avoid Public Storage if you can. My experience has been nothing but frustrating. When I first signed up and paid for a unit, no one was even present at the office during business hours to onboard me. The keypads at the facility are frequently broken, Bluetooth access rarely works, and the front gate has been disabled for weeks—everyone is forced to use the exit gate for both entering and leaving. I also received a rude phone call from an employee accusing me of staying past access hours, even though their logging system was clearly malfunctioning. I’ve tried calling the office several times during posted business hours—no answer. I’ve left voicemails with my number, but nobody ever calls back. On top of that, the pricing is deceptive. My unit was advertised at $49, but after all the hidden fees, I ended up paying over $80. Then, without warning, my rate was raised again to $97.82 just a few months later. I’ll be filing formal complaints and reaching out to corporate and the BBB. I sincerely hope Public Storage addresses these issues, but based on what I’ve seen, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. ... Read more

I’m writing this review with deep frustration and disappointment. My experience with Public Storage has been nothing short of traumatic. I moved into my unit on December 28. Within two weeks, all of my belongings were stolen—and to this day, in April, Public Storage has done nothing to resolve the issue. Here’s what happened: due to a failure on their end, my unit number was not properly updated in their system. As a result, it appeared in their records as vacant when it absolutely was not. When I discovered this and questioned it, they initially claimed the unit had been auctioned. But after I filed a police report, it turned out that my unit had actually been broken into and robbed. I lost everything. Since then, I’ve made countless attempts to get in contact with Public Storage. I’ve reached out to their employees, managers, and even attempted to escalate things to their vice presidents. I was told many of those individuals no longer work there. No one has stepped up to take responsibility or offer a clear resolution. The communication from their side completely stopped in February. To make things worse, the insurance I purchased for my unit is now invalid because it was tied to the wrong unit number—another mistake on Public Storage’s part. So not only did I lose everything, but now I’m left with no compensation, no answers, and no support. This experience has been devastating. Public Storage failed to protect my belongings, failed to take accountability for their administrative error, and failed to support me after their negligence cost me everything. I would never recommend them to anyone. If you’re considering storing your personal belongings here, please think twice. One mistake from their system—and you could lose everything with no one willing to help you. ... Read more

Sam and Angie were so helpful, made it easy as pie and had me in and out without a hitch. I tried several other storage places in the area and every one had difficulties even getting someone to the door much less having the ability to help me quickly. I appreciate these two ladies and the service. Highly recommend! Thank you ... Read more

We always aim to leave honest and constructive reviews. Our client was fully packed and waiting with our movers, ready to move out of her unit—but unfortunately, we were unable to access the facility. Although the hours listed online state they open at 6:00 AM, it is now 7:41 AM and no one is here to assist. This type of inconvenience can be incredibly stressful, especially for clients who have scheduled labor services and made financial sacrifices to ensure a smooth move. Situations like this not only delay the process but also add unnecessary pressure to an already demanding day. We hope the facility can improve communication and access for early-morning movers and customers. ... Read more

They will double your rent in a year. This company is a sham. Get you in the door then double your rent. Interesting that current customers pay double what a new customer does. Please don't rent here, find a company that values it's customers. ... Read more

TL;DR: Not enough carts — makes everything a hassle. The location itself is clean, the staff is polite, and they have decent prices on the units — but they only have two carts. This is a huge hassle, as the carts are kept in the office and you need to check one out with your driver's license every time you want to use it. Want to come in after hours and use a cart? Good luck. Show up and there are three other people at the location who also need a cart? Have fun waiting. The lack of carts adds a whole new layer of inconvenience that I’ve never had to deal with at other storage units. How can this problem be solved? Here's a crazy idea: buy more carts! Yes, they’re expensive. Yes, people might steal them. Yes, they’ll eventually break. It’s called the cost of doing business. If I own a restaurant and customers keep stealing ramekins or condiments from the tables, I don’t just lock the rest up, refuse to buy more, and tell my customers it’s their fault — I buy more and eat the loss, because that is the cost of doing business. This company posted record profits recently and had a yearly revenue of $4.5 billion… don’t tell us you can’t buy more carts. To the staff member that I know is going to respond to this: You and your team are all great people and I'm sure it's a hassle for you as well to stop what you're doing to go check out a cart for a customer. Put some pressure on your company and get them to do the right thing, because they very clearly don't care and are fine with dumping the extra work and the extra hassle on the employees. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 3325 North 16th Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 3325 North 16th Street start from $64 and can go up to $227 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
