I don’t know how this place has such good reviews. We’ve tried renting from here three times, we even had someone call us and ask us about our appointment and then said they would guarantee someone would meet us this Saturday so we moved all our plans around to be there and no one is there. Twice no one was there when we showed up and the phone number brings you to Manila rep? ... Read more

I bought a couple units here during an auction once, paid so much money cause I thought I saw a %uc$1ng Charizard beneath a dirty sock. It wasn't and I couldn't pay my credit card back. I lived in one of the units for literally 8 months which is why I am giving such a high review. ... Read more

I should have left Public Storage a year ago for sure. No one should have to pay $272 for 10 × 7.5 unit!! I flew here just to move out and close out my account. Initially, I paid $68 and the rate increases took me to the current $272. That's ridiculous! The ladies working at the property were professional and friendly. The property was clean and tidy; it seems to be pretty secure too. Still, that's no reason why anyone should be charged almost $300 for a 10 × 7.5 unit. ... Read more

Carrie is a joy to work with and has been beyond pleasant the couple of times I’ve interacted with her. The facility is spotless. (No reason to push the 10 second rule with these floors. Lol. ) I’ve had units at a couple of facilities now and this is an excellent facility. ... Read more

I’ve been a customer of Public Storage for a while, but this experience has been incredibly frustrating. I received a text about an outstanding balance and then was told to pay using my last card. I assumed the payment went through but never got a confirmation or error message. Later, I was charged a late fee because of a system error on their end, to which I have used in the past to make payments on before. When I reached out, I was told my card wasn’t on file, despite them asking for that exact card that was used to make previous payments. To make things worse, Public Storage has only one or two people working at a time, and their online chat service never works when I need it to; specifically during their "normal" listed operating hours. I even called and spoke to the very nice lady, but the conversation led nowhere and they weren’t able to clarify what went wrong on their end. I’m busy. I don’t have time to fiddle with a system that doesn’t work or chase down support for something that should’ve worked the first time. The lack of communication and system failure has made this a painful process, and I hope Public Storage can address these issues moving forward. I’ve attempted to reach out to them, but due to my work schedule and their lack of online customer service, it’s been difficult to get proper support or resolution. ... Read more

My experience with Carrie, the site manager always has been phenomenal. She takes customer service to a level over and beyond anything anyone can expect. Carrie is very personable, friendly and caring. When I first met Carrie, I immediately felt like a friend. I always look forward to seeing her every time I go to my unit. If you ask her a question regarding Public Storage (PS), and if she does not know the answer, she will find out and she will get back to you as soon as she finds it just like she promises. I always have an exceptional experience with PS and Carrie. I’d give Carrie 10-stars if I could. That’s how I feel about her. ... Read more

Customer Service on the property is excellent. Property Manager Carrie is great!. She is always helpful, personable, and professional concerning any questions or concerns I may have. Update: Upon looking at a couple of the poor reviews, I have no idea where they are coming from?!? As I needed assistance again today with a storage unit switch, and Carrie was extremely helpful and friendly as usual! She showed me my options and completed the necessary paperwork in no time. Excellent customer service as always! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 4240 South Signal Butte Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 4240 South Signal Butte Road start from $52 and can go up to $323 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
