Prices just keep skyrocketing. They know you're stuck, so what choice do you have. Very dirty. If you can't afford the high prices of a closed and air conditioning unit then you have the arizona dirt all over your stuff and the heat. What's the point! I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. ... Read more

What a great place to store my belongings. Clean, safe and secure. The staff is exceptional! Each month I would call in my payment. Once I forgot and I received a call and they were kind and considerate. My house is finished and I miss them! ... Read more

Beware of your height. When you say you are a RV storage facility, you assume that your RV will fit under the cover. Spot 755 not so much. When we checked in on 12-8-17, we were taken to our spot by an employee. As I was backing in, he was in the back of our 5th wheel acting as a guide. When I was most of the way in, I heard a sound that was not normal. Employee told me it was just my antenna. I started to backing again, and immediately realized that it was not my antenna. It was my front A/C. After the shock wore off his face, his comment was, "You should have lowered your tire pressure!" There are no signs anywhere in the facility warning of low heights. The response from management was to blame the city/county for requiring fire suppression. When asked about helping out with my insurance deductible, their response was that it was my fault, and I had better hope I didn't damage the sprinkler head. Terrible customer service, and my only advice is renter beware! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at A Storage Place - 1551 North Arizona Blvd include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Enclosed and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
