Read some helpful reviews of A Fort KNOX Self Storage at 2535 North AZ-89, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Safe, clean, secure? N O! On the surface this facility may appear to be clean and well-kept. Once you have occupied for a while it will become clear just how dirty and nasty these units get on the inside. After a two-year stay I Removed 3. X 5 gallon buckets of dirt off the floor from inside the facility and hold them to a remote location for dumping as the dumpster is not for tenant use. It was apparent that my unit was accessed multiple times without my approval or presence by someone other than myself. When I first inquired about Storage I had questions regarding the access and was told that they semi trucks could get in and out with no difficulty. Apparently management has a different style of semi truck in mind and I would caution anyone with a low riding trailer do not get to the east end of the facility as the curbs that direct drainage are large enough they may do damage to your undercarriage. After approximately a year and a half of occupancy I was contacted by my bank indicating that they had blocked Fort Knox attempts to take payment out of the account. It seems that Fort Knox was trying to pull rent money from the Credit card making multiple attempts in just a few seconds time frame. Upon investigation it was found that this had been occurring for months. It was also found that I had been double charged in the past. Attempts to resolve these issues with on site management made it clear that they lacked the intellect and communication skills to get these issues resolved. The owners were contacted him and they admitted they had seen the situation previously even after management complete denial and lack of concern. The owners were very concerned and getting the funding issue resolved however, when it came to the issues with their personnel it was obvious that they did not hold their own management team high regard with comments like “he doesn’t steal from us“ or “the carnival left town, they didn’t ! Storage is a payment for the security and protection of your items. I believe that some of that should be confidence as well. The only confidence I have here is that I did not have something they wanted in my storage unit. And these units don’t offer a hell of a lot of protection from the elements. ... Read more

Very friendly service, storage units nice and clean. Came in during the storms and the manager was very helpful with U-Haul as we couldn’t make our deadlines due to the snow. Awesome place and I highly recommend them. ... Read more

With the exception of one sad review I couldn't agree more, they actually deserve 10 stars. The managers at Fort Knox Storage are very professional and very business savvy. I also find them community minded. Thanks for being a great business. ... Read more

We were pleasantly greeted by managers Michele & Mike and then provided several storage options. We easily choose an option, these folks are easy to work with. Because we travel a lot and not always near a mail box we ask them to put us on auto-pay, once again easy-smeazy! We always had access to our storage stuff, and peace of mind it was safe and secure. Fort Knox Storage and specifically manager Michele is such a delight to do business with, thank you! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at A Fort KNOX Self Storage - 2535 North AZ-89 include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 750 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by A Fort KNOX Self Storage - 2535 North AZ-89 start from $45 and can go up to $299 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
