It’s getting better. I’ve been here since the late 90’s when it was first built. It’s been through several owners and a rough ride. The first owner were great and then the lady that ran the office had an aneurysm and feel ill. That aside, the current owners and customer service is great. They are repairing the grounds and have a great system in place that works out great. It’s not so much on the current owners, but the rent has went up after these decades of being there and nothing has been done to improve anything on the grounds until these current owners have taken It is to your advantage and anyone who is looking at storage that Arkansas storage is taken over and are getting the place up to park so you feel like your money is actually going towards what you’re paying for and not just a private owner‘s pocket. This is a great place. It’s right off of the freeway. Quite a few military members are people that keep their stuff here you can’t go wrong with them as long as you stay up on your payments and don’t destroy any property or other people’s belongings. ... I enjoyed my experience. I thought the office would be open so I drove up there, not previously calling or anything. But I called and was able to get a temporary code to view a unit right then and there. They gave a follow up call to see how it was. And when I was ready to get it everything was simple and easy, done right over the phone. And my lease agreement was emailed to me. All ladies I spoke to was helpful and friendly ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at 10 Federal Storage - 6140 Remount Road include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Parking and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
