I had my things in storage for a few months several months ago. Getting in and out the gate with my code was fairly easy. Only one star because of the vermin. When I reported the vermin in my storage unit and my cousin’s, I was told I should have gotten the insurance. Didn’t seem surprised or concerned about it. Unless you can put everything in an airtight containers and don’t mind a coach roach and other insects nestled in your things when unpacking, look elsewhere. ... Read more

Got there thirty minutes before they close the office, all I had to do was fill out the paperwork for a storage unit as I'd came by the day before and a sweet man helped me figure out which size I wanted (also 30 minutes before close, because I have a job which he understood). She rudely said "you were here at closing time yesterday, and now you're back at closing time again!". Sign on the door said masks were required, but she wasn't wearing one (and she never put one on the entire time) and I'm thankful because my jaw would've hit the ground otherwise. Horribly rude lady was such a shocking contrast to the very nice man the day before. I'd rather relive middle school than deal with that miserable old woman again. Edit- manager called and apologized about said lady - I feel much better about Lock and Load having listened to my concerns. ... Read more

I’ve been a loyal, on time paying customer for 2years now. I’ve never had any problems, until May 2018 I found a rat, and rat poop all over my bed mattresses, brand new furniture, as well as my clothes/shoe bag. Instead of showing any type of compensation for my new furniture etc, management offered nothing. I wouldn’t suggest further business to anyone at this facility. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Lock and Load Mini Storage - 10900 Stagecoach Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Lock and Load Mini Storage - 10900 Stagecoach Road start from $50 and can go up to $160 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
