    Of course staff are very selective with the 5 Star treatment. Move in process is rushed for Elderly Handicapped and VETERANS. If accommodations are required DO NOT COME TO EXTRA SPACE STORAGE. The only resolution is they’re threatening to kick you out. Save time if you require accommodations and friendly service. There’s not a posted time limit for carts Especially at move in, if you’re not familiar your cart time and move in is very limited. Very unwelcoming. Two rentals at 400 usd Per month!     This facility is clean, well-lit, secure, and climate-controlled—everything stays in perfect condition through Alabama’s humid summers. What makes it exceptional is the on-site manager, Ms. Ray Reid. She’s incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Ms. Reid remembers customers by name, offers practical storage advice, responds quickly to any concerns, and runs the place with warmth and efficiency.     Absolutely horrible experience at this location. We have multiple units with this chain at another location and they are the most polite and respectful people. This location was completely disrespectful the entire time we were there. The "manager" (Ray) was so rude and disrespectful. It's almost like she was looking to start trouble. Out of all of the places I have ever done business with, this was by far the most disrespectful and unpleasant. Very disappointed with this location.     Rented 8 units for a non profit project & we had particular size requirements. The manager , Ray, was a delight to work with and definitely knows the product.     I moved in to a 10x15 in June at a discounted rate. I was paying $93 or so a month and then after a few months I get an email that it will be $186 starting Oct 15th. We'll, I got out quick and would be wary without full clarification before renting. They said they would work with me on a lower rate. Clean and nice but make sure what you may pay over a year.     Recently rented with Extra Space storage (Manager Ray). She was exceptional. I had originally rented with Public storage on Leeman Ferry. Walked into the unit I rented at Public storage and it smelled nasty and had HOLES in the walls. It was so gross. So I went to Extra Storage on Memorial/Governors. Ray at Extra Storage was very nice.     I’m extra-pleased about using Extra Space Storage for my storage needs. I was desperate due to my former storage space having an inoperable elevator, which they don’t know when they will fix, AND a last-minute move that has to happen soon. I came to Extra Space Storage on *Labor Day*, in a state. They were OPEN, and Ray was so incredibly calming, kind, knowledgeable, and helpful.
