I want to start with the positives. My husband and I have truly come to love living in Collierville. The location is wonderful, and we especially appreciate the size of the backyard and how cozy the home feels overall. That said, we have experienced several ongoing challenges, primarily related to maintenance and response times. Shortly after moving in, we discovered water damage in one of the bathrooms that required immediate attention. A few months later, a pipe burst, and it took nearly a month to locate the issue, complete the repair, and replace the damaged flooring. During that time, mold developed, which impacted my respiratory health. Additionally, when the air conditioning or heat has gone out, it has often taken several days to up to a week for someone to come out, diagnose the issue, and complete the repair. Because of these delays, I have stopped submitting requests for smaller issues, such as broken window blinds, as the process tends to be lengthy and difficult. While we do enjoy many aspects of the home itself, these recurring maintenance issues have significantly impacted our overall experience and have changed my perspective of working with FirstKey Homes.
