The home was nice, and the maintenance staff was excellent. However, I truly suffered with my neighbors’ nearly 10 barking dogs for several months. But for the dogs, I would have enjoyed the home and would have even considered buying it.

I moved into this home a few weeks ago to be closer to my family. I aim to purchase a home when interest rates and property values fall to reasonable levels (hopefully in a year or two). Initially, I viewed the home online and then saw it in person during the walkthrough with a FirstKey representative. The home is pleasant, and Maintenance has been very responsive to identified issues. However, the home comes with a significant (external) flaw--which is multiple neighbors with large dogs that bark all day. Sadly, I am learning that dog sitters and dog owners in the area allow their dogs to bark at all hours of the day. In some cases, several dogs are barking in such a way that I thought they were attacking someone! This is the one aspect of my stay that remains almost unbearable. While I support dog lovers, I wish that some of my neighbors had greater regard for maintaining the peace in the neighborhood and disciplining their dogs. If FirstKey has renters in the area who care for dogs at their rental property, perhaps you could remind them to remain courteous to their neighbors by maintaining the peace. Doing so would greatly improve my experience and that of others--I'm sure.
