I have been with FirstKey homes for the past 4 years. My biggest concern is the lack of communication. They are slow to address maintenance issues and at times try to make charge you for items clearly not tenant related. The management team have had discussions with me agreeing for credit but because it was never documented, I was left with an erroneous bill. The only good thing about this property is the location and easy access to schools.

The experience has a lot to do with management and maintenance. The communication with the property manager(s) is poor.They don't respond to emails neither return calls. Maintenance issues takes weeks if not months to address and this is with several ticket placement

The maintenance of the home is poor and often left unaddressed. The area is okay. I appreciate that it is close to the highway.

The property assistants and managers don't respond to emails nor phone calls. Their only concern is payment. The only time they call is during the lease renewal period. The maintenance department has made some improvements with the quality of work, perhaps this is based on the personnel that comes out. The home is an older home and would do better if it was properly maintained not just when the resident calls for maintenance issues. The property does not worth the rental price.
