The house is fine, pretty much what we expected and the neighborhood is also what we expected. We're happy with both overall. The biggest problem we've had is that FirstKey Homes did not do basic appliance maintenance before we moved in. The A/C was not working at all, it was over 90 degrees and full humidity in the house at times during our first two weeks (we moved in in early June in South Florida). It took two weeks to get it fixed because they were slow to respond when we reported it. Also, the dishwasher was not draining and the fridge water and ice dispenser was broken. Finally, the sprinkler system outside had several broken heads and many heads that were clogged and barely spraying water. The appliances should have all been checked between tenants. They have come out and fixed all of these issues since, but it should have been done during the period when the house was vacant. I don't think that's unreasonable.
