Inspections not necessary

Once a year inspections are understandable but other then that don't make sense. It feels like I'm a kid or a prisoner. 5 times of year coming in my home I pay for is ridiculous.

Grateful Mom1950

I moved in in July, 2017, 5 days before my knee replacement surgery. I am on the first floor of my building, and it is a handicapped apartment which was convenient. Parking outside my building is tough sometimes, only because this building has a lot of 'handicapped' residents, and there are not always enough parking spaces for those of us with handicap cards or plates. It is difficult when some do not have ambulatory handicaps, vs, those of us that have difficulty walking, as the former take the closest spots and leave the other spots for the latter. I I do not mean to be negative, as I love my apartment, the amenities inside the apartment, the laundry, the size of the rooms, the a/c, and heating kept working with a wonderful maintenance person, who always has a good attitude, and completes any 'fix' quickly and correctly. The view out here are great, and basically even with I-81 so close, the noise factor of the traffic is not bothersome. Noise between apartments, above (and below?) can be an issue, but, not side to side issues. The office keeps check as well as they can on the noise-makers. I like being distant from 2 large cities, Staunton and Harrisonburg. I enjoy the distance from 'crazy' college students!! There is a need for an outdoor area for residents to sit or put a lawn chair out, to visit with neighbors, or read while being outside in the sunshine as being outside is healthy and a good source of Vitamin A & D. The playground is great for the kids, but, the grownups need a place to be 'neighbors'. I hope to stay here at the Landings for a long time.

Excellent place to live

Only live there just a little over a year but loved it, loved the Apartment, and the staff. Needed to move due to a health issue. Sad to leave
