Looking out the window

My daughter and I moved in to our apartment in July, 2017. It was/is a true blessing in my life. I love my apartment and its' amenities. I spent too many years lugging laundry to laundromats. Having the laundry room right in my apartment helps a lot. It is a large apartment, so my daughter doesn't feel crowded, and has her own 'personal space'. There are a couple problems, but they have been there - not enough handicapped parking, and no real monitoring of non-residents with handicapped tags, thinking they can park in out spaces because of their handicapped status. We also need more handicapped spaces, because the same residents park in the closest spaces, even though the have not currently have difficulty ambulating, Leaving those of us who do have ambulation difficulty having to park almost completely down the lot to the next building. I really do not know how this can be fixed..it just is difficult when I get home from work at about 1 AM, and have to park quite far away, with my work bag, purse and in the dark worrying about someone being out in my apartment area ready to cause trouble fort me. Then, there is the ever-present noise issue. The landlords evicted the man above our apartment because of the noise he used to make, which he had really improved on. Only to have a very very loud family now living above me. They drop heavy objects, like free weights or cement blocks, and someone is constantly running and jumping on the floor. I just do not think when they built this place, that they added enough sound-proofing, and that is why there is an almost constant problem with noise. I have adapted and truly love my apartment.

Comfortable, spacious apartments. Maintenance issues are always resolved quickly. Nice view and convenient location being close to the interstate. Friendly office staff.

The area is beautiful and I could hardly believe these were income restricted homes. They are well maintained and the staff is pretty responsive, when u can catch them in the office
